They seem nice but they charge you a penalty to end your coverage even if you bought a house. they tell me your welcome to leave if your not happy just pay what you owe us and next time

Impossible to reach them by phone over 2hr wait and still nobody has answered. I tried on 3 different days and gave up after 2 hours and 28 minutes waiting

Solene Contreras is an absolutely useless employee. She had the audacity to ask me to go to a gas station and request video proof of an accident. Lol, nice. Ask your customers to do the work they’re paying YOU to do as a company.She’s also rude, seems like she has no idea how to do her job, disorganized, and if you don’t chase her down for info you’ll have no idea what’s happening with your vehicle.Honestly, the absolute worst insurance company I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They hire brainless, rude individuals that are incompetent to say the least.

I would put 0 stars if it was possible.This company is just scamming their existing clients and has zero ethics and morals along with reps that read scripts off their screens.No one can explain how I can do an online quote for a car insurance and get 700$ per year, and for some reason my renewal with them is over 1000$ per year for the same car. This is how they treat their long time existing customers with multiple products.Quote low for the first year, and then the rates just go up year after year indefinitely seems to be the norm across both their auto and house insurance.

I have an accident last Saturday from that day They are not providing me a car. I’m waiting from Saturday. If I’m paying you every month you must provide a car to your clients. You must give priority to your customers. They are saying me that you can find anywhere then call us why you can’t find a car for your customers???

WORST company ever!!!! Since they switched from La Capital to Beneva I’ve had nothing but trouble. Called to cancel apartment insurance because my intention was moving. They went ahead and canceled my car insurance without my consent bc they said I told them I was moving to Ontario. I said I do not have a place so I won’t be moving yet. I was hung up on twice. They wouldn’t reinstate my insurance until I changed my address on my registration and license to another one in Quebec . WHY…. Would I pay more money to change my documents when I’m moving and have legally 6 months to do so. Such a scam… no empathy what so ever and no care in the world for people, especially in the current circumstances inflation etc.

Waiting time over 2 hours to speak to someone . Sent me a document that I had comments on the documents , called them back . another 1.5 hours . 4 hours for a simple document . trying to leave this company , imagine if you had an accident and youre trying to contact them

Both of my cars were hit by their insured customer the day before Thanksgiving. It has been over a month and neither tow yard has heard from the claims adjuster. The claims department has given us the wrong contact information. I've left several messages for the claims adjuster, Slyvie, along with both insurance companies and to this day no response. I would love to have this matter resolved. Once this happens, I will not change this rating.

Since the merger of La Capital and SSQ, I have had the most unacceptable level of customer service experiences. I never had any issues with SSQ before.Just to provide you all with an example. I have been trying to reach the customer service line for the past 3 days. The wait time today has been 1hr30mins so far. The last two days brought me until their closing time, at which point they cut the line.I would 100% never recommend this insurance company, stay far away from anything that La Capital has its hands on.Good luck!
