Essence Designs

A great design service. Dawn helped me out on all steps for building my first house. Everything - from outside stone selection to the interior - design and layout. Help with architectural layouts, cabinet design, fixtures, paint colors, furniture and everything else. Sorry Dawn - a little late posting this review.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Dawn! Our project was large scale (entry way, kitchen, stairs, living room, dining room, etc.) and we needed help creating an inviting space that was functional and modern. The entire process was seamless and she helped us through every step of the way. We are completely in love with our new space. Thank you!

We met Dawn at the home show and automaticity new she was the designer for us! Using most of our old cabinetry, Dawn create a modern, warm and functional kitchen and living space. We were provided with some great options one of which we did not think of ( a beautiful. 9 foot island) which now is the centre piece of our renovation. Dawn also provided us help with colours and an update of our fireplace by adding paint and a lovely white tile. She also recommend some great resources which we used throughout our project. This has been a tough year with a few more months to go. We are thankful we are healthy, happy and able to curl up in our new space. Thank you Dawn.

We met Dawn from Essence Design while working to design our renovation and our experience with her was amazing. I hired Essence Designs to develop an interior design plan to update my main living space. I wanted something I could implement myself, over time. I was thrilled with the result and the value. They listened to me, got a sense of our style and needs, offered various options, and produced a detailed plan that I have been able to easily start implementing myself, to great effect.

We were planning a large renovation and contacted a number of companies. What set Dawn apart was her process and understanding what we were looking for. She recognized immediately what was important to us, and that was to make this experience as stress free as possible, but at the same-time we really appreciated her candour. Dawn provided a few design options and was very easy to work with as we made many adjusts. In the end we were very happy with the results and Dawn was the biggest reason we enjoyed going through this experience.

We planned to renovate our basement, but lacked the vision to properly lay out the design to suit our needs. Dawn was amazing to work with and we now have the bathroom of our dreams! She was very friendly, professional, responsive and reliable, and very quickly understood what we wanted and helped us create exactly what we were looking for. She’s got great taste and our new bathroom is now the envy of all of our friends! She dealt with any issues that came up very quickly and smoothly.
