Cabbagetown Farmers' Market

Long overdue review on this really nice cosy little farmer's market at Cabbagetown but nonetheless better late than never. I was here in the summer and despite the rain, everyone was in high spirits, greeting me as I was walking past their little tentage.I so see many people who come here to buy stuff and most importantly, bring their own shopping bag in the effort to reduce single use plastic bag usage. What better place to practice this than at a farmer's market.They sell items like local honey, local produce, coffee (beans or brewed), cooked food etc. This farmer's market is pretty small scale but cosy with enough produce being sold and in a sense no great competition. This would lead me to think that whoever planted what they sold did it to the best they can.All in all this is a nice farmer's market to shop for local produce and cooked food which serves the community well.

Fresh fruit, veg, bread and baked goods, flowers, pet treats and more. So much fun for the whole family. Skip the grocery store. Shop local.

It's a cute market, mostly homemade jams and organic foods are sold.

this place is cut slice of heaven, you can fine great produce, pastries, fresh honeys and breads etc etc etc some stalls carry machines hat can read your card but i’d definitely recommend bringing cash to get what u need from this place

A great variety of produce and prepared foods. Vendors and market staff are really friendly and knowledgable. The neighbourhood is lucky to have this market!

Vendors are so friendly ! The variety is amazing and it is right at the gates of Riverdale Farm. Such a beautiful spot to take your family. :)
