Ethennonnhawahstihnen' Community Recreation Centre and Library

I've been waiting for this magical place for 5 years now, and it's fantastic.

According to Concord Adex, $ 100 million is spent to build this community centre. Concord's rep said this is the biggest community centre in Toronto

it was an amazing time the pool area had fun things to do like basketball hopes and music in the background amazing you shouldgo there .

The aquatic center could have been better equipped compared to some of the older facilities in the city (there is no Olympic size pool, therapy pool or sauna, the showers are mixed use so they lack privacy and the shower heads can't be adjusted and the water was cold when I used them) Otherwise is a very beautiful complex and for sure a nice place for leisure swimming. Or a library visit. Go check it out you may have a very good experience in this new place.

Waited a while for this place to be built and finally it arrives! And while it is brand new and offer a slew of community activities, it gets docked for its Universal pool change room (men, women, boys and girls will change in one area). That is a big no-no in my opinion which led to the 1-star rating due to privacy concerns, potential indecent exposure (intentional or not) and likely long wait times for the limited private stalls that do offer some privacy. I would suggest parents check it out first before getting all excited to go the pool. As well, as some other reviewer noted, the showers are lined up wide open right next the pool entrance and visible for everybody, I would hope nobody plans to take an actual shower there ?!?!

Swinging pool change rooms aresupposed to be separated by male and female area!

Big new centre + library.2 pools - kids one with basketball net / toys and adult pool. Both have ramps.Outdoor terrace, Big gym and walking track, fitness centre/workout room, ping pong tables, dance room.All accessible; ramps + elevators. Both Pools is accessible.Staff are new, dont know about programs and seem to be guessing / making it up as they go.Double check with other staff.Unfortunately not great for a new centre.
