Employee, /owner?? Old guy there had absolutely no idea what he was doing. Completely scammed us, added charges, increased prices, neglected to mention fees, took us for over 3 times the original rental quote. STAY AWAY.

Was disgusted and highly disappointed. We booked a truck 2 months ago for pickup in Nanaimo. When confirming pick up, we were told it is only available in Coombs. We specified pick up in nanaimo and drop off in parksville. When asking why we cannot pickup in nanaimo .we were told we did not specify drop off in nanaimo. Which makes no sense as we dropping off in parksville.speaking to the manager he says that is how it works. So much for thier slogan of keeping promises. Why did they not stipulate this when booking. We cancelled and used budget. Ended up getting extra milage to boot. Won't use u haul again even if I have to pay the extra money.
