I wanted fries! I stopped at this cute spot on Highway 35 - the first place I came to on my home from Huntsville.I was warmly greeted by a staff member, big smile and welcoming words.The fries we great - came out fast and priced very reasonably.It was also busy for a Sunday night.Thanks for taking such good care of me - even though I only made a $10 purchase!I love small businesses!Penny Johansen

Stopped here for lunch. We ordered a large Greek salad, fish and chips, and the pesto pizza.Service was quick and our waitress was really friendly.The food was good and we enjoyed our meals. I wish the pizza was served on a board instead of a plate because it was soggy on the bottom (still tasted good though).I would recommend dropping by if you’re looking for a quiet diner to enjoy some standard home cooked meals.

Busy little spot. This is the second time we stopped here. First time was last year for breakfast and this time for lunch. Service and food are both great.

Very busy so the service wasn't up to is usual standard in told. The ribs were $22 a half rack AMF they were low quality I felt. The fries were the best I have had almost anywhere around Minden/ Halliburton

Decent spot to/from the cottage or if just passing through and you want some diner-style food. Good portion size, but slower service, awkward washroom and imbalanced HVAC. No big complaints though, and overall enjoyed the experience!

Amazing spot by the water! I tried the Swiss burger, the mushrooms and cheese complimented the burger amazingly. It was very tasty!The staff were friendly. The location is great. And definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area. They have some great all day breakfast options.

This is gem of a place. You cannot miss going here if you are on your way to Algonquin. The ambience is great, it is like a small log cabin. Very well kept. It is usually very busy, but once you’ve got yourself a table, you can enjoy your meal and soak in the beautiful view of the water and old pines. The staff is amazing, courteous and kind. The food is really nice, delicious and homely. It is a must stop.

Great place overlooking the Mirror lake.We went here for breakfast and the food was great.We had ordered the full English breakfast and a spinach omelette.
