Medoro Insulation

This is Joe and he owns Medoro Insulation Co. LTD.Last week he came to give me a quote on properly insulating the attic at The Guest House. I was blown away when he offered to donate his time and do the job for the cost of the materials only ($400). Then, he came yesterday to do the work with one of his employees (Larry) and not only did they insulate the attic, first they removed all of the random items that had been stored up there for who knows how long (dressers, trophies, etc). They went above and beyond to help us get the job done.When they were getting ready to leave I asked Joe what his preferred form of payment was and he said, “None. This is on me.” WHAT??!!Joe went on to say that Larry said he wanted to ‘clock out’ before the job so that he could donate his time as well. Unbelievable!!I have incredibly high respect for Joe. I met him through a friend who used to work for him. Joe not only gave him a job when he really needed one, he also picked him up in the morning and provided him with the motivation to get out of bed. They would stop at Tim Horton’s and he would treat him almost daily. When he called in sick multiple times, he didn’t give up on him or write him off.Joe uses his business to provide far more than quality insulation, he provides people with opportunities, mentorship and compassion. Just another example of our incredible Bradford business owners.
