FBC Regina - Small Business and Farm Tax, Consulting, Bookkeeping and Payroll

Very unprofessional. They don't use chartered accountants. Made a complete disaster of our books and had to pay a chartered accountant to fix it. We paid for book keeping and nothing was done right. Had to pat late filing penalties and find a new accountant who charged me $ 4000 to straighten the mess out. They would not offer me a refund whatsoever and never made any attempt to rectify their terrible accounting.

Worst experience I've ever had with any service company period. They blew every meeting / deadline they gave me. Cycled me through accountants on their way out of the company. The first year of my business could had been my last had I not been so diligent on my own. FBC missed so much in taxes owing the government that it could have broke us. FBC cost us a lot of money and despite every assurance mistakes would be paid for by the firm when it came down to it that was a lie as well. Very expensive lesson. Least professional, professional service I have ever dealt with. Do yourself a favor and look anywhere else.

Please save yourself a lot of grief and avoid this firm. We engaged their services for two years and after problem after problem we went elsewhere. The mistakes they made are costing us a lot of money! They recorded dividends paid out to the wrong company, the wrong amounts, and didn't declare the dividends paid after year end complete. They recorded assets twice and depreciation twice in some cases, or some assets not at all. When we and our new accountant requested our records multiple times for the years FBC did them, they wouldn't return emails or phone calls and we never have received any of our documentation to date. Perhaps if your tax return is very simple, they might do ok, but if it is the slightest bit complicated, find a different firm!

Both Fred, the agent that comes to the home and Terry back in the office provide accurate and friendly service. They also answer their phones and or promptly return calls, a rare commodity these days. It's a pleasure doing business with them.

For years I struggled with my taxes never seeing a refund or feeling like I was doing them right!! Farm business got me on the right path and a considerable refund for 2021. Friendly awesome staff and good hearts 100 percent recommend

Coming to our house makes it so much more convenient to gather the info needed for our income tax returns. No more dragging books around where info could get lost in the process!! Fred's knowledge towards tax planning strategies of our finances has helped save us money over the years. Appointments are set up at our home to convenience all parties involved. We enjoy working with Fred!

FBC have done my tax returns for nearly 20 years now. I appreciate their professionalism, their realistic prices, their suggestions for efficiency, their initiative in finding legitimate tax savings and the bottom-line results. They took on a tax challenge from the CRA and doggedly stuck with it for five years. The CRA eventually backed off from a bogus claim.

I would not recommend this company to any friends or family, there was so many issues and rude service. You could text and call for days with no answer. We found out later that our “accountant” wasn’t an accountant at all and had no accreditation. It took my now real accountant many hours and cra phone calls later to straighten out my corporate file. They will take your money no problem though. Please use an actual accountant, or a company with a better reputation.
