This is by far the best vet I have ever been to. Every single staff was very kind and compassionate, and educated. They cared for me and my pet more than any vet has. From the first contact by admin to the last contact, every worker was great! My dog had to be taken out back for some tests and I wasn’t going to be with him, the worker told me exactly what they were going to do which helped me feel at ease. The vet was very knowledgeable and provided me with their honest opinion. They also had a printed out estimate of surgery which outlined the reasoning for the cost. They also have things to purchase including dog toys which is great. Overall fabulous experience and if I lived closer I would definitely be switching to this vet!!

Brought my cat in on short notice, despite my cat not being a patient with TAH, when my regular vet was booked for the rest of the month. Very kind and compassionate technicians, vet, and front desk staff. The veterinarian Dr. Douglas explained what was going on with my cat, and while sadly euthanasia was recommended due to his advanced age and condition, she was extremely compassionate and answered all questions and concerns I had. Both Dr. Douglas and the technicians made a difficult appointment a bit easier, and gave me all the time I needed without feeling rushed.

Priority number one is the patient. My 13 year old dog had a operation recently performed by Dr. Osborne. The consultation, procedure and results have been astonishing. We have our baby back. Thank-you to the team at Timberlea Animal Hospital.

Lovely staff, will definitely be returning.I took my senior pug in to see Dr. Wentzell. She was very kind and informative, didn’t push unnecessary testing, was super sweet with my dog.

Brought my dog here since the day they opened and unfortunately had to let her go here as well. Vet loved her and took care of her up until that time. Got some very nice prints and a card that ended up making for a beautiful framed piece for our living room.When she was diagnosed with arthritis they gave a bunch of options from more affordable to more expensive and explained the advantages and disadvantages of the more and less expensive medications.

My puppy Fendi is 18 months old and has been going to Timberlea Animal Hospital since he was just a little pup! The clinic is modern and clean and the front desk agents are friendly. I've dealt with several vets and all of them have been very knowledgeable and explain things clearly. Emma, one of the vet techs is fantastic! She obviously loves her job and loves animals. I feel very confident having my dog taken care of by this team. The vet consultation fee went up to $94 recently but I'm not sure if that is in line with other vets in the city.

Had a great experience here. Normally I seek the cheapest vet option, so I've been disappointed by vets in the past. But I decided to give this place a chance because it is closest to me in my new neighbourhood.I've never seen a vet treat my cats so well. She even lay on the floor with them when one was scared, and eventually had them coming to her to be pet. So gentle and kind - and wasn't rushed. The vet also communicated so clearly and openly with me, and I was able to make an informed decision, and get the tests/services that actually matter for my cats.I am very happy with the care and service, and I will be returning to this vet for future needs. The office was quite busy when I was there, but I can see why. It's a great service.

Love the TAH - I have 3 cats and they all have their own individual health issues and TAH has always been amazing. Super friendly and knowledgable. They also don’t push for unnecessary testing which I appreciate. They squeezed my cat in on short notice after a seizure. Couldn’t recommend more.

When I moved to Halifax 3 years ago, I was desperately searching for a vet for my pets & I cannot express how grateful I am to have found Timberlea Animal Hospital. Every staff member is helpful & compassionate. Dr Yazer & Dr Cucchetti have been wonderful to my dogs; they’re patient, kind & very informative in educating you on your pets’ health. Dr Brewster has been an incredible vet to my cat, who needed surgery for bladder stones last summer. She & her team provided exceptional care & showed me great kindness during a worrisome time. So grateful to have found your clinic!

I made the switch to Timberlea Animal Hospital from another clinic for both of my large dogs within the last 6 months and am very happy I chose to do so. The staff is wonderful - super friendly, professional, and always do what they can to accommodate. The clinic itself is very clean, spacious and comfortable.Both of my dogs have been through a lot in the last while and everybody in the clinic has been nothing but kind, caring and helpful. They are amazing with communicating and with checking up on how the dogs are doing post appointment. They don't try and conduct unnecessary tests, always check in before completing them, and are very honest and informative, which really helps you understand what is going on with your pet and assists you with treating them once they are taken home.I have already, and will continue to recommend them to others!
