Very nice place to have a hot drink in the winter or a cocktail in the evening :) I really enjoyed the art on the wall and how cozy it was in there.

This place is a cool spot where staff are very friendly, approachable and knowledgeable about what food and drinks they are serving. The salted caramel macchiato was perfect. I also ate a charcuterie board of unique cheeses, fig jam, bread, meant and olives which was great. Lastly their cocktails and non alcoholic drinks have great flavour. I tried the Annex Juice box and the non- alcoholic, grapefruit Mojito. I definetly reccomend for a chill place to hang out and enjoy great food.

The service & ambiance is top-notch. (Shout-out to our server but I forgot his name. I just remember that he moved from Winnipeg to Toronto to be with his gf). The craft beer selection is small but includes brews from Collective Arts, which is my go-to craft beer brewery. The charcuterie board was aesthetically pleasing but the olives were not the best quality. (I lived in Greece for a month last year, so I admit I was spoiled with great olives). Definitely a hidden gem with modern but cozy and artful decor. Will definitely be back!

I was there with a corporate party, so we had an open bar therefore I can't speak about the prices here. The drink selection was good and they had a menu of nifty cocktails to try. The bartender was excellent, very quick, professional and efficient. The charcuterie and snacks laid out were also very good as well. (I don't know if they serve dinner entrees here, but we didn't have any at our event.) Overall, the drinks and food were great.Unfortunately, it was so extremely and profoundly dark in this venue, that it actually made it hard for me to see and recognize the work colleagues I had only known so far from online video meetings. And there's something about the acoustics here that makes it very difficult to hear conversation, particularly when music is playing (we had hired a DJ, perhaps she was too loud for the small intimate space). Even though this wine bar is at ground level, it kind of felt like a basement. The bathrooms were non-gendered, very clean and nice, but required navigating a pull-door, stairs with corners, and a winding hallway, so unfortunately not at all wheelchair accessible. If you like dark, intimate atmosphere and delicious snacks, then it's great. Unfortunately it just wasn't for me and I doubt I would go again on my own.

We came for the wine and stayed for the people! The Annex Café/Wine Bar provides some of the best services in town. Their friendly staff (Troy and Jackson to name just a few) will make you feel right at home in their beautiful lounge and if you’re lucky, their patio. You can come with 0 knowledge of natural wines and Jackson will give you the 101 and more on some beautiful grape juice he has to offer. A tip: always ask what’s NOT on the menu yet! You might be more of a cocktail person, in which case, you will be hooked up to some amazing mixed drinks that are also served at the Two Twos next door. If you’re hungry, they have small bites like pizzas and charcuterie boards to pair excellently with the drinks.Aside from the mad friendly staff and extraordinary food and drinks, the vibe here is on another level. Decked in contemporary and modern furniture with dim lighting and groovy tunes, it’s hard to leave the space once you’ve sat down for the ambience. It’s in a boutique hotel and is rather under-promoted throughout the city, so you won’t find any rowdy crowd but just a chill and mature clientele down to have a good time.Highly recommended, coming from a Toronto local!

I’m so amazed by this little hidden gem! Wine and food selection was descent. The service, ambiance and vibe of this place blew me away. Great date night venue or night out with friends! They allowed me to bring a cake for my friends birthday (among the other accommodations I had requested)!

Cafe in the daytime, wine bar after 4pm, with happy hour $12 house cocktails and wine glasses from 5-7. Nice patio, immaculate decor.

Visited at 6 on a Saturday night and the spot was about half full - we booked a reso but you could probably snag a table for four at that time as a walk-in.Very cozy and intimate atmosphere, great for catching up or even a date!Menu-wise, I was pleased with their non-alcoholic options. The service was great and will come back to try the rest of the menu!

I think this might be my new favourite bar! Nice hidden spot behind Two Twos and a quiet vibe on a Monday night - trust you won’t be yelling over the music or any other people. We ordered a bottle of the orange wine (first time trying the orange wine - taste wasn’t too distinct, felt like a mild white), the warm olives and the brie. Wish they had more crostini… not enough for the brie. The olives were a bit too strong for my taste. Otherwise couldn’t have asked for a better evening!

Really cozy spot. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They have a good selection of wines and even offer 1/2 off on Mondays. The pizza was really good and they also have these cute dessert cakes. Highly recommend. The Annex hotel is great too.
