This clinic is great and is the only place I could get help from beginning to end after being turned down at other places. Here, I was helped immediately the first appointment. My doctor (I wish I remembered her name) was so kind and careful to explain everything to me and she was very professional and gentle to make everything a smooth process. My follow appointment was with Lindsay (I believe is her name) and she was also very kind for my follow-up appointment and thorough to make sure I was taken care off. In all of this, I didn't have to pay anything out of pocket, I really wish I found this place years ago..

Had an IUD insertion here and the whole experience was great. Thought I’d share my experience here and hopefully it’ll help someone. I phoned in to book an appointment for IUD insertion, the receptionist booked me in for a consultation call a couple days later, and the nurse booked me in for the IUD appointment during the consultation call for 2 weeks later.Arrived on time for my appointment, waited around 15 minutes to be seen. I was a bit nervous to go to a hospital but the Bay Centre facility was quiet and clean. The nurses I saw were really nice and communicative. During the process, she told me exactly what she was doing for each step so I knew what to expect. I was anxious about the insertion after reading many horror stories on the internet. But my experience at Bay Centre was as easy as it could be. I was on my period and took 2 Advil an hour before my appointment. The insertion itself was momentary and the discomfort was very manageable.

I had a surgery that had 1/1000 chance of going wrong.. lucky me. But to top it all off i had a follow up call at 9am scedualed and no body followed up. Not avlr to get through reception lines etc. Its like a goose chase and run around. I wish i never came here for theres services.

Everyone I met at the hospital is warm and compassionate. I called in the morning and wasn't able to get through, but when I called around noon I got connected to a receptionist in less than 5 minutes. The care and services I received here were exceptional.

Have been here a few times and appointments have typically gone well, but they really need some better receptionists. They're so unfriendly and lack compassion, especially when you consider what patients come here for. They don't make you feel welcome, instead they ask What's it for?" when you have an appointment booked. I get that they can get busy

The doctors were amazing. Dr. Chang (I’m sorry if I got your name wrong) was patient and kind. I did not have a good IUD insertion experience due to my own anxiety but the doctors were reassuring and comforting. I found reception and all the hospital staff to be kind and pleasant.

I tried to book an appointment for a Pap test, as I had recently received my reminder-letter from the Province. After waiting on hold for 10 minutes, the receptionist just said: Call me back when you're 25." When I tried explaining that I've already had a Pap test and the government had just sent me a letter urging me to get another

100% recommend to have your IUD done in Women’s College Bay. Not sure why all those negative reviews. My experience was so easy going. Receptionist was great and patient, and nurse Pam was absolutely amazing making all this process so easy and painless. I highly recommend. Ask for a local anesthesia - it worked really well for me.

Today was my first time at the Women’s College Hospital Bay Centre for Birth Control. I wasn’t able to get an appointment by email, but received a prompt reply to call during business hours.Upon calling directly I was put on hold but when the receptionist did speak to me she was polite and helped me set up an appointment. There was a 3 week wait to be seen, which wasn’t my preference, but they have a lot of patients it seems. The day of my appointment, I waited for a half an hour longer than my appointment time. However it was worth it, because the doctor I had (Dr. Greenwald) was very friendly, a good listener, and very patient in going through my options in selecting an IUD. She made sure that I was completely comfortable and confident about my decision. When she installed the IUD, she was as gentle as possible and took great hygiene measures. She answered all my aftercare questions and sent me on my way feeling very cared for. When I booked my follow up the receptionist was pleasant and efficient.I agree that waiting past the appointed time sucks, but I understand why now, because the service I got was thorough and unhurried. Which in my opinion is how it should be when dealing with medical matters. If you are in an urgent hurry this may not be your best option. Otherwise, I recommend bringing something to read or headphones to pass time on your phone. They were all nice to me and I believe offering their sincere efforts to give the best care to each person.

It is a special clinic for that. They are caring and knowledgeable. For such an important matter it should be done in a safe, good place. And staff are also very good.
