Ford Credit Canada

I have never been so glad to get rid of a vehicle, based SOLEY on the bank it was financed through. Ford credit is the most rude, disrespectful financing you could ever get. First and foremost, their website is useless and looks like it was created in the early 2000s. Time to get modern with a website, people want easy access to change things around.When you call them, you will be talked down to and treated like trash. Also, you cannot change your payment frequency from what you originally signed up for! What kind of financing doesn't allow you to change payment frequency?!! I will NEVER buy another vehicle through ford credit in my life, I would rather pay higher interest than ever give ford credit canada other cent of my hard earned money. Absolute disrespect at all levels.PS. I was a fellow ford employee, and they still treated me this way. Let that sink in. If they don't care about ford employee service, I can't imagine what non employees go through. Welcome to payment hell.

Recently got my 2020 ford escape written off by sgi. I still owed money so sgi put the cheque in both names. So I sent the cheque the 29th of March, Thursday before easter by express post ( stating 1 day delivery ) . They never received the package till Wednesday following week. So I checked with them that Friday. Told that check had to be cleared by bank before they sent remainder back but called today only to be told it would be another 10 days before I would receive any money from Ford Canada. So I have to wait a total of 1 month or more to receive this refund .

Custom ordered a truck in December… got approved no issues ran my credit agreed to terms and interest rates just had to wait ….. truck shows up in April and then my approval isn’t honoured because it’s a 2021 and the order was a 2022 and because my score went down the previous approval is null and I now have to be re approved which I was declined twice …. So thanks ford credit Canada ? My credit score took a hit twice from ya … wouldn’t recommending custom ordering anything with the wait and the fact that now the truck I’ve been waiting for and pre approved for I can’t have…. Big waste of 5 months not happy .

I always wait ample time before leaving reviews anywhere and it’s time to make my review for Ford credit. So far I’ve been with them 18 months and no issues, my payments have always come out the same day each month they are supposed to (aside long weekends etc). I have been working on making pre payments to pay down my vehicle faster and I will say this, Ford credit, like SO many major banks is on an older system so when I make a payment to Ford credit early I have to call them to let them know it’s extra money, otherwise if I don’t they deduct the payment I made from my monthly payment instead of assuming it’s an extra payment. Kind of annoying, but not any surprise to me being that it’s a bank. Over all, I’m happy. Can’t wait to finish paying off what I have now so I can get the Bronco.

After 6 years of faithful payments through good times and also many bad... with only 3 payments left to finish my truck loan ford Canada credit decides to take the entire outstanding amount tonight... no warning no explanation.. they take the last 3 remaining payments in 1 lump sum.. while the plus side of this is the fact that my truck is fully paid off.... the downside since ford credit Canada took 3x the amount the contract dictates they left me in a negative and forced nsf of my other loans and also no money for food or gas.. way to go ford credit... who was in charge or making that decision.. so yay my tucks paid off.. but boo ford you are scoundrels...couldn't wait the extra 4 weeks to get it done according to the scheduled contract agreement? ? What's the interest for then? So now I will no longer be interested in purchasing another new ford vehicle...and you get 1 star.. pay attention ford credit Canada.. there are actual people on the other end of all those loan contracts.

Not happy with Ford Credit at all. I called on July 28 to request a payout total. They asked me if I wanted to stop my preauthorized automatic debit out of my account and I said a stern yes as I was trading in my vehicle that night. They advised they needed a 3 day window for that and I said that’s fine as I gave them a 9 day window. A payment pulled on August 6 after I specifically remember telling them to stop it. Now I am losing some of the funds as I will not get my full car payment refunded due to interest and per dime and they could care less about that. I got a brief apology and that was it.

After trading in my truck and my loan being paid off I am still waiting for Ford Credit to send me back my account credit. It is almost 1 and a half months since my loan was paid off. So why exactly does Ford Credit take time sending back overpayments when they would be more than happy to take someone to collections if they were delinquent on payments.

I've work at a privately owned dealership since 2007, and I work with Ford credit weekly, some weeks it's every day. Compared to major banks, when it comes to loans for our clients, Ford Credit are more willing to give loans to clients with mixed credit history. They've helped a bunch of my clients with deferred payments. IMO Ford Credit is great! Was shocked to see a low google review score. Word of mouth from my clients when I touch base with them is 99% positive, but I guess leave it to the 1 in a hundred to go and leave a poor review vs the majority who are happy and don't bother writing a review.

I wanted to switch banking institutions and made several attempts to access my account online before being locked out. I contacted Ford Credit by phone and the lady at that end was experiencing the same access difficulty.I was told their IT department would be addressing the situation and I would hear back soon. Meanwhile I was then transferred to another gentleman to address the bank account change. He took all of my new bank info and explained that all would be changed immediately is their anything else? No was my reply, fast forward a week later to payment day and guess what!!? The changes were not made and the account I closed was now being charged $750 for a payment of which wasn’t there. Guess what else!? I now have a $48 NSF charge and I’m certain a less than appropriate blemish on my credit record! I called in and they have no record of the 3 hours I spent doing all of this!! At the beginning of the phone address system they state that abuse of employees will not be tolerated. I’ve never heard of such a pre curser to a business. However I understand why this may be an issue. It likely wouldn’t be if they knew how to do their jobs!! I am very upset and I will avoid Ford credit in the future!!

Have owned a few new fords, this time was the first time I used Ford credit.. Great rates, no complaints.. Thinking the negative reviews one here are people with bad credit
