Hounsfield Heights - Briar Hill Community Association Co-op Playschool

My son will be attending HHBH Playschool this coming school year! I am excited to be part of such a lovely community of parents working with wonderful teachers who are committed to play based learning! I love that the Playschool classroom is within the Briar Hill School and that my son will have opportunities to access the gym, and library!

This is my kids' first year and they really enjoy their playschool experience! I really enjoy the co-operative parent experience with volunteering on the board. I've gotten to know so many people with kids in my community. It's wonderful.

My son has loved his time at HHBHCA Playschool with the teachers, his classmates, the crafts, show and tell, calendar time....everything!

This is such a lovely playschool! The classroom is very fun and bright and the teachers are caring, energetic and always keen to engage the kids. Most importantly, our daughter absolutely LOVES attending!

Great preschool. Experienced and caring teachers, who do a great job communicating all things with you. They were really understanding when you would forget things, etc. Would recommend.

I have been involved in this program for three years now and am really impressed with it. The teachers are so good with the kids and parents. The curriculum has many interesting enrichment programs including regular music sessions, soccer with Coach Steve, a mad scientist, growing butterflies, a magician and more. The co-op aspect allows the parents to get to know the other kids and families. It also gives your child practice with public speaking and being the center of attention with special helper duties. Being inside the school is a big bonus. Not only is it extremely convenient for dropping off other siblings attending the school, there is a before and after school care system literally across the hall. It's so nice for my older child to still be greeted by his teachers and to visit with them. Much community is built with having the playground there and visiting with the other families. I am really happy with this program and the value my network from it.

We absolutely love this playschool! It is a great space nestled in the Briar Hill Elementary, so also has access to the library, gym, and special guests. There is before and after-school care available next door. The parent co-operative means you get to volunteer in the class and see your child playing and learning in their own environment with all their new friends! An amazing opportunity!

A great playschool located right inside Briar Hill School, making it ideal to transition to kindergarten. Good facilities and teachers, very competitive rates, both my kids enjoyed their time here. Options for 2/3/5 days per week.

HHBH Playschool is a truly wonderful place for children to learn and grow in a play based environment. I would highly recommend HHBH Playschool to any parent as a place for their children to attend.
