Lakeshore Village Fruit

I will never shop here again. Purchased flowers that I was told were fresh and immediately upon getting home minutes later, I discovered half the bouquet hidden at the bottom was completely rotten, moldy, and fell off everywhere. I called and was told it was final sale and not their problem. A complete waste of money.

Great selection of good fruits and vegetables. One of the best stores in the neighbourhood!Fresh flowers, too, but those have gone up in price with the post-COVID supply issues.

this is the kind of business that makes a neighbourhood home. this hardworking family warms my heart, and I would MUCH rather give them my money that some giant chain store.also, best basil I've seen anywhere. I often walk through the door with an idea of what I'm having for dinner, but I get a sniff of the basil and a whole new plan takes over

Good selection but more expensive than the grocery store. But there's no grocery store near by so they obviously take advantage of that

Fabulous fruit and veggie place. He gets all my grocery business because place is friendly and produce is always fresh. Owner and staff work very very hard to make the place impeccable, organized and easy to shop.Price is reasonable. I love that I now only go to big grocers for meats and fish. We need a full service butcher and meat place near by. There’s a small local butcher that is good but not nearly enough variety I would like to not have to leave the neighborhood for grocery shopping at all.I think with strong anchor businesses other new businesses would start to open ( and the existing business s reopen of course). Village fruit and Vegetable is also open seven days a week!! There’s a lesson in that for other Lakeshore Businesses. It’s makes no sense everything closes Sunday. That nonsense stopped in the 60s. Of course ,if shops don’t open Sunday they discovere there’s o business Sunday..lol. Strange how that works!

I love this place. The people who work here are very kind, and mostly regulars come here from the neighbourhood. Decent selection and good quality. The selection changes depending on the season and what shipments they got. E.g. they occasionally have watercress (like once every three weeks). They sell a few cheeses, tofu, milk, juice, and other essentials (spices and common canned goods, like olives, and dried goods, like dates or pasta, for the kitchen). They also have a great selection of flower bouquets and pot plants.

Fresh produce at fair prices. I don't go often, but when I do, I make it a point to stop in more often for my produce. Some things can be more expensive but I find all in all, you're getting way better quality than the big chains here.

I go here all the time for fresh fruit and vegetables.Bonus: seasonal plants, fresh flowers, and... the hummas is the best price in the neighbourhood!

I bought apple and pears from this place all of them were rotten inside. It happened to me thrice. Flowers are good no doubt. But quality of some fruits is not good. They have pomegranate for sale which is also bad quality. Please maintain quality of fruits.
