We recently had the pleasure of dining at LOULA'S, a hidden gem tucked away in the heart of Vancouver. Whether you're a passionate food enthusiast or simply looking for a delightful meal, LOULA'S offers a wide range of options to satisfy every palate.One dish that truly stood out and left an indelible impression on me was the lamb Souvlaki. The lamb was cooked to perfection, tender and succulent, and the accompanying house sauce added a delightful burst of flavor. Each bite was a harmonious blend of earthy aromas and rich textures, a testament to the chef's culinary expertise.Another highlight of the evening was the Seafood Orzo. The Orzo pasta was cooked to al dente perfection and generously adorned with an assortment of fresh seafood, including plump shrimp and sweet scallops. Fair price for amount of food. The service was satisfactory. The restaurant was very beautiful!The cocktails were subpar- I had the baklava Sour.The salad was disappointing. Some romaine lettuce and a few slices of apples- very lack lustre. The lamb meatballs were the best part of the meal- filling. The calamari was not very hot- bland. The potatoes were well seasoned.Food did come very fast which some people may like but dinner seemed rush

A friend and I have been wanting to go try this place for a while. It just so happened we were in the area for Italian Day and chose to dine one. A few things:- The staff were friendly and great with their service so grateful for that.- The location may be small but super cute.- They have a decent menu.- Unfortunately we didn’t have the best experience. They had a DJ when we were there (even though it was around 2pm) and the music was super loud. It made it difficult to chat with each other as we had to tell or speak loudly for the person next to us to hear us. It sucked coz every table ended up doing that which got way too loud.- It is a little pricy for what you get but felt that not everything was the ‘true/authentic’ Greek food. We felt it was Greek food with a modern twist.- On a personal note, I found my dish to be a tad bit over salty.

Beautiful interior. Worth the price for the the ambience and decor alone.Make sure you make reservations beforehand because it gets busy!Wonderful service. Shout out to Manny who was helpful and attentive to our table.As for the food, the portions are small for the price. The lamb chops were great, really tender and juicy. Greek salad was fresh. But we didn’t like the kalamari much.Cocktail names are so creative, we got a good laugh out of it.

Came to Loula's on a Thursday night for dinner and glad that we had a reservation. Restaurant's atmosphere is laid back and the Greek theme/decor adds to the already nice ambience. Server offered varying menu recommendations as majority of the items are family share, tapas" style offerings. Mediterranean dips are a must. As recommended by the server

Been wanting to check this place out for a while and finally had the chance for dinner. They book up quick so I recommend calling in advance. It's quite small so be prepared that if you plan on going for a date night, you will need to speak up as it's very loud inside.Everything is meant to be for sharing so I recommend ordering a min of 3-4 dishes. We ordered their meliztanosalata (egg plant dip), saganaki, octopus, lamp chops and fries. Everything tasted great however if I were to do it again, I would order their greek salad and a couple more lamb chops as they are bit size as I think we had a little too much carbs..One neat thing is their washrooms. If you are a big fan of Jennifer Aniston or John Stamos, go check them out and you'll see what I mean.Overall I can see why they are always busy as it's definitely one of the better Italian restaurants in Vancouver. Go check them out and let me know what you think.

What a great spot!We needed a place like this on “the drive”!Don’t expect a quiet spot, they have created a true Greek restaurant/bar that feels like you are in Greece!People may say it’s noisy…But it’s called Ambiance and it’s fantastic!The staff are all super cool and helpful and the cocktails are delish!I tried almost everything on the menu and there was nothing I didn’t like!The Octupus is a MUST TRY!Thank you to all the staff for a memorable night we will be back again and again!EFHARISTOS!

This review is for lunch service. I definitely prefer coming during the day over night time as it’s a lot quieter. They sometimes have live music so you can call ahead to check.Every dish I had was amazing and fresh. The tarama dip with olive oil and extra fish roe was perfect! The spanakopita was so good; I am usually used to the folded style from bakeries but this one was a full on home style pie packed with ingredients. Tuna tartar was perfectly seasoned. Both beet and Greek salads were fresh and well made. I think the seafood risotto is a must try for sure. Can’t wait to come back!
