Fishers' Loft Inn
Rooms clean and well supplied. Everyone friendly. A very restful, quiet Inn, lots of trails and possible whale sitings. However, as the accomodations are many separate small houses on a hills, if you have any mobility issues with lifting your own luggage, walking uphill and carrying or walking up steep staircases, do not go. There is no one to assist, only a pull cart in house parking lot.Housekeeping was great the first time. But on day two and three beds made, some towels replaced but no floor vacuuming, no replacement of toilet paper and missed garbage bins.

Wow - what an incredible dinner. A really special treat - for main course we had the choice between lobster or pork schnitzel and both chose the former, which did not disappoint. In all, the meal includes amuse bouche, two starters, a main course and dessert. The view is gorgeous and restaurant is very atmospheric, lit by candles. Food was impeccable and the service was amazing - servers were friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and looking for a special meal.

This quaint resort with about 30 different sized rooms scattered between a half dozen buildings offers a relaxing place to rest while exploring Port Rexton and Trinity. The rooms we saw were exceptionally clean and well maintained. The TV was comically small, but we never turned it on, as we spent our time walking the many trails. The restaurant had a fixed menu of gourmet, five-course, dinners, and breakfasts. Our dinner started with a cod pate amuse bouche, salad made from their garden, clam soup, salmon, and a sublime rhubarb mousse. The breakfast menu was gastronomically simpler (eggs, bacon, crepes), with some self-serve options as well.

Really nice place and food was great! Special mention to the baker who prepares fresh bread for the morning breakfast! It was delicious! Not any regular bread!

The Fishers' Loft Inn is a picturesque Newfoundland stay. It's in a quiet town that doesn't have much, but everything you need. The grounds and the inn are stunning and so well maintained. It's a true family run business where everyone is passionate about making your stay perfect. The restaurant is 5 star. The views are 5 star and the brewery down the street is 5 stars too.

Great inn for exploring the Bonavista peninsula. Many little touches that show they’ve though of the guests: robes in the room, a decent hairdryer, walking sticks to help on the Skerwink trail (take them for the hike!), umbrellas in each of the buildings. Classic decor throughout, nice art, books and magazines to borrow. And the breakfasts were divine! Fresh homemade and different offerings every day. We’ve moved on from the region and I miss the breakfasts the most!

Beautiful rooms and location. We had a great view of the town and ocean. Walking distance to the Port Rexton Brewery and Skerwink trail, and a good spot to stay for exploring the penninsula. Just a short drive to Bonavista, Trinity, the puffin viewing site in Elliston, and Dungeon Provincial Park. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. We didn't have dinner at the Inn, but we did have breakfast and it was great.
