MEC Hudson’s Bay Mississauga Square One
I was here the other day with my mom and aunt who were buying climbing gear for the first time and we were helped by Emerson. He was so patient in offering suggestions and bringing out a variety of options for them to try while not pushing or rushing them to make a decision. He also helped them to find matching harnesses and they were so excited to head back to the gym to try them out. Even after he punched out, Emerson came back around to check on us and make sure we were doing okay. His customer service was top notch!

The new MEC in SQ1 is wonderful! From their wide array of apparel and equipment to their SPECTACULAR customer service, you can’t go wrong.Went in for a return for a defective shoe, and the staff helped me pick a better shoe for my needs. Their insight and product knowledge was definitely helpful, and their friendliness allowed me to ask any questions I had.Pumped to have a MEC in Mississauga. Ran by awesome people, 10/10 would go!!!

Yumeng was super helpful with helping me find rock climbing shoes. She was very knowledgeable about the brands, fits, and rock climbing techniques and didn't try to rush me despite having to try on over 5 different pairs. I'll definitely be coming back to her for Rock climbing equipment and advice.

Visited MEC in Mississauga Square One last week on weekend to check on sandals for upcoming summer and Thank you Siri for your suggestions and recommendations on sandals. MEC had two sandals from keen in women's section, which I really like, but there are no offers on sandals, so I will just wait till they go on sale

I spent about 2 hours today trying on hiking shoes. The sales person who helped me was absolutely fantastic. Emerson was polite, respectful, informative and so very helpful. He managed multiple customers with grace and respect to both. Emerson went above and beyond to help get me into the right pair of boots. A lovely fellow and would highly recommend him if you are in the shoe wear dept at MEC at Sherway!

Sheri (at MEC Hudson’s Bay Mississauga Square One) was sincerely interested in helping me with my purchase: winter boots and micro spikes. What impressed me was her patience in helping me with my questions about micro spikes, and going as far as letting me try the spikes on to see how they work.Well done Sheri! Well done MEC!

Looks like they have a new MEC located in square one, so new that it's not on MECs website!The store is significantly smaller than most other locations, but that's a given as it's located in a mall. However they do still have a relatively good selection given the size of the store! I saw rock climbing equipment, skis, snow shoes, camp equipment, food, supplies and plentiful clothing options.Staff was present and knowledgeable, and I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of Cotopaxi content in the store as well.Absolutely awesome to have a MEC so close by!
