They have many sugarists so it is easy to get an appointment here. The times are flexible and they don’t charge for rescheduling. Though if you are late by over 5 minutes you will have to reschedule.My favourite sugarist is Camille, she is super friendly and kind, and makes Brazilian sugarings less awkward and daunting. You are done in 10 minutes and they are thorough on aftercare advice.Facility is clean, trendy, and nice atmosphere. Rooms are clean and sanitary. Lots of privacy!If you book ahead of time you get a $5 discount off your next appointment.

have been sugared here on numerous occasions. every single time I’ve been treated incredible - like a friend. Bare always makes sure you’re comfortable and all the girls are wonderful and in my opinion, go above and beyond. i had to bring my little guy along once and the girls helped watched him so I could still get my appointment done, they are angels. 10/10 recommend.

Unpaid parking available, consistent with direction and assistance, notifies of cancellations, smells excellent, is clean inside, bathroom by lobby, receptionist (Candace) is very kind and respectful of all people (I’m Anishinaabekwe). Great at confirming appointments trauma informed regarding consent.

Pros:Easy to make an appointment, staff very friendly, clean facilityCons:Procedure on legs was more painful and took much longer than anticipated. After procedure I was given a wet cloth to clean the sugar residue off my legs and also told there were hairs they couldn't get and to pluck myself at home.Perhaps this is normal for this salon, however after being at other salons that will automatically pluck leftover hairs and who will wipe up the sugar residue themselves (without being asked), it seems the service from my particular sugarist was a bit lacking.

Let me tell you, and believe me when I say it, Nadia is the best at what she does. I have been waxing for almost 20 years, and sugaring for the past 10. I walked in to bear on Academy Road the staff was super friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere was amazing, neutral, and super inviting. I will absolutely return, and without a doubt always book my appointment with Nadia. She is talkative, super friendly, and excellent at what she does. If I could give this place 10 stars I absolutely would. If you want a comfortable experience be a Bare is the only place I would recommend going.
