I went in the facility limping from the excruciating pain in my back and numbness in my right leg. Today I can say I'm walking straight and very optimistic that I'm going to have a better quality of life. The staff is amazingly friendly and caring. Not to mention Dr. Ron. Best personality ever. For a doctor, he makes me feel very comfortable. Thank you Back Clinic of Canada. You gave me my life back.

I learned of Dr. Ron and his clinic when I was looking for a location that has a Spine Med machine for decompression. I was able to locate his clinic and after assessment, I started attending daily appointments to fix a slight disc herniation in my lower back. This was causing problems as it was possibly touching the nerve root. A MRI had already confirmed the slight herniation. This was also possibly causing neuropathy in my feet that had started many years earlier. I am happy to say that I am now 100% better physically and mentally than I was when I first met Dr. Ron and started my treatments. I am still dealing with the neuropathy, however the nerve sensations are very occasional and less intense. Dr. Ron and his staff are excellent to deal with. His staff are always welcoming and willing to assist. I would recommend Back Clinics of Canada to others.

Going to this clinic was the best decision I ever made. I was almost scheduled for spinal surgery because of the pain in my back but since going to Dr. Nusbaum, I feel almost as good as new and no longer need surgery. I am able to walk properly with little to no pain. I never thought I’d ever feel this good again without surgery. Thank you Dr. Nusbaum.

During the spring of 2020 I noticed i had some minor back pain, and a clicking feeling when I’d bend over, which would radiate up my entire body. I chose to ignore this and unfortunately over the course of a few years the minor back pain developed into chronic back pain, as well as sciatic pain down my leg that essentially left me unable to sit, stand, lay down or do pretty much anything. I couldn’t even sleep!!!My family doctor unfortunately recently left the practice and I was trying to use walk in services to manage the pain, which essentially boiled down to “lose weight, take some Tylenol if it really hurts and try some stretches.”After many months of continued pain and limited help I searched for treatment options and Back Clinics of Canada came up and I became interested in the spinal decompression and laser therapy. I read many reviews and decided I had nothing to lose so in early 2023 I booked a meeting with Dr. Ron, and he sent me out for scans and determined I had degenerative disc disease on my L5S1 disc.I began treatment and while initially sceptical of any treatment that promised such pain relief, within about 4 treatments my pain was quite significantly reduced. About 3/4 through my treatments my pain was almost entirely mitigated and as of now I’m essentially pain free.I wish I could stress how transformative this has been for me, I can now sleep better, play with the kids again, and have felt reincarnated into the body I had before my pain developed. I even lost about 30 pounds as of writing this!I want to thank Doctor Ron and his staff who are excellent and helpful. The treatment plan was very detailed and following my initial treatment, I have been provided with exercises and a continuing treatment plan that will hopefully prevent me from ever being in such pain again.I’d you’re hesitant on the treatment, but you’re suffering from back pain, I wish you’d take my review to heart. Wow! This Clinic saved me! For five months, I had suffered from debilitating pain caused by a herniated disc. I couldn't sit for longer than a few minutes, and had constant pain, numbness, and a pulling sensation going down my leg. I tried everything -physiotherapy, osteopathy, acupuncture, and massage therapy and nothing gave me relief. UNTIL I came to Dr. Ron Nussbaum and his team at the Back Clinics of Canada. I was hopeful but a bit skeptical that his spinal decompression machine would help me. Today I finished my 20th session (over 5 weeks), and I can say I have my life back thanks to this clinic! They are the real deal! I can't thank them enough. For me, it was at around the half-way point into my series of sessions that I noticed a definite shift to being pain-free, and it only got even better after that. This time around I suffered from herniated and bulging discs and sciatica.I was hardly able to enter the clinic on my own. I am only 1/2 way through with my sessions and my quality of life already improved by a good 85%. I am a 68 year old, formerly active, female. My diagnosis is spinal stenosis with a pinched sciatic nerve at L4L5/L5S1 coupled with mild arthritis in the lumbar region. In retrospect there might have been a nagging discomfort for some time, but the catalyst for the big pain was incident-related...lifting while gardening. It came on with enormous disability and pain from waist to baby toe. I started with physio but there was no relief... then came the osteopath, acupuncture and decompression at a small local office...still no results. I tried every gadget on the market...nothing helped. When I came to Back Clinics of Canada I was not eating or sleeping. I limped and had no walking stamina. I was unable to sit down and had not sat for months. I was emotionally spent and in a dark place. Doctors offered drugs, which I eventually did take, and said it would be a long time before I would get better, maybe years. They said I was not a candidate for surgery and I should continue to try to keep active, but there was not much more they could do. But I was no longer able to be active and all I did all day was manage pain. We live about 3 hours away from Toronto. I researched to try to find help. It is an unassuming location, but walk in the door and the staff and environs are professional, housing some of the best equipment available. I met with Dr. Nusbaum, found him to be genuine, caring and empathetic and wanted to start immediately. Each time you come you are seen by the doctor to ensure you are on the right track. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable and warm. I was strapped into the Spine Med machine. I tried the other machines a few times, but I preferred this one. It is a personal preference. I felt secure for some reason, like my pull hit just the right spot. Slowly, over months, I improved. We drove 3 hours through every kind of weather because it was working. I was getting better. Slowly I could sit, not having done so in about six months. This treatment has now helped me to the point that I think I can take over, with exercise and rest, to build endurance and a wider range of activities on my own. I owe my sanity to this treatment and my husband, who drove all those kilometres, is grateful for that. Thanks Dr. Nusbaum and staff. I am not sure what I would have done without you.

What a relief! I’ve been dealing with lower back pain for over three years and it got really bad the last couple of months. To be fair, I thought it was a placebo effect but after the second and third session, I knew something really good was happening.
