A great service that helps people in need. Definitely recommend it if you're having trouble making ends meet. Super open and friendly willing to help out immediately.Don't forget that you should register first before dropping by on a food bank day. Also one thing more is that if you are in Burnaby you can only pick up food at this location on Fridays.

They have produce days, yes you must register. They also give out bread and sweets during the week. They serve breakfast on Sat at 10:30 am now . The last one I attended was very good. They sometimes have bread available at the breakfast. The Sunday meal is no longer offered. Its offered at the church next door. Most importantly church on Sundays and they over other services as well has shelters and support around the world.

The Salvation Army has always been very supportive to my mom’s family when we were little which was imperative that we had that help and support that we received and still today they’re doing the exact same thing of helping households with their necessities and needs. Thank you very much for all of your support

Being refused food at a food bank several times now. However, when I presented myself as male they help me in my family all the time. Now that I am presenting myself is female living with your authentic self. They don't help me and say that they're don't have room to help me and blah blah blah blah blah blah sends me like another case of religion and what would you say discrimination bye-bye now?

The best place for second hand gems. I go there more for the movies and music but this is one of the better equipped Salvation Army I visited. They have it all, you could furnish your house, be fully dressed only with the stuff they sell here. It's a place to spend hours exploring the lost and beautyfull things people give away and some are true time capsules in every way.Prices are beyond affordable and service it's fairly nice. It's Salvation Army not the fairmont hotel so that's how you will be treated.

Pay parking. Employees are always to busy to help you anytime soon. Will increase prices at the cashier if they think it's to low. Waist of time

This location has a strong community and friendly atmosphere. The Food Bank is clean and products are good quality, especially for being free. Very few problems and everybody works as a team doing what they can for those in need.

The clients are generally fine. The volunteers are generally kind. The times food is delivered and distributed to clients are unpredictable and not controllable I assume. Thought these pictures can help those in need of food since updating schedules and procedures seem to change often in the last two years.

This very community oriented organization offers non judgmental help and opportunity to many, many people who may be down on their luck. They also have a generous food bank, and a large circle of incredibly friendly, helpful volunteers. In addition, the church employs a number of community members through their kettle drive every holiday season. The Salvation Army Thrift Store on Columbia St is also definitely worth visiting!
