Morgan communicated well at every step, was careful with the couch set he moved for me and took care in ensuring doorways and floors were not scratched. He was professional and respectful.

Best-well-deserved 5 stars. Morgen from Marketplace Movers was asked to move my 1st-year son’s belongings from one of Queen’s dorms in Kingston and store them for the summer. All the arrangements were made virtually from Vancouver, so I was a bit hesitant since my son had to be done and out of the dorm within half an hour really early in the morning. The day of the move, Morgen was constantly reachable by text, he was punctual and professional, and finished the job faster than expected. Once he finished storing everything, he sent an email confirmation with a photo and acknowledgement of the payment, which was extremely fair compared to several other quotes I had received. We will be in touch with himagain once its time to move my son to his new place, and I expect we will receive the same excellent treatment. Morgen has beat my expectations in every possible way so far; therefore, I HIGHLY recommend his services.

At the end of August 2022, I hired Market Place movers to move me from Kingston to Burlington Ontario. From the beginning when I was deciding what to bring, sell and otherwise dispose of, Morgan made himself available to help me move heavy items from storage and from room to room if I needed it. He was very pleasant and accommodating.The move went smoothly and efficiently with my things arriving in excellent shape at my new address in the time that was anticipated. There were no unexpected charges.Some things had to be taken apart for the move, and were reassembled at my new place. Curtains and rods were taken down, and all items including antiques, art work, glass and mirrors were handled with great care. I had several large pots of plants I wanted to move, and while the other movers I talked to refused to move them, claiming they couldn’t guarantee they wouldn’t arrive dead or badly damaged, Morgan had no problem with it, and all plants arrived in good shape.Market Place rates are very competitive. Two other movers gave me an estimate almost twice as high. Furthermore, the estimate Morgan gave me was based on large pieces not included initially, and when I changed my mind on taking them, he didn’t raise the price.If you want a trustworthy, friendly and reliable mover that charges very reasonable rates, I highly recommend this company.

We have moved for work about 15 times, and this most recent one with Marketplace was by far the easiest, smoothest and most stress-free move we've ever had. Morgen was really quick to respond and had great communication in the lead up to the move and on the morning of. They showed up on time, were impressively fast, super efficient, really conscientious, careful with our furniture, and didn't leave so much as a scuff on a wall. They were also flexible to last minute changes in what we needed moved and where. Really nice, personable guys. Couldn't recommend more, and would definitely book them in the future!

Martketplace movers moved furniture within our house as we completely reorganized our layout. it was a 3 story house with some large items to move. They were efficient, polite, came on time and competed all the work within the 2 hour time period that had been estimated. I recommend them and would hire them again.

Morgan and his team have been very helpful with moving my son the past few years as he changed residences at University. Professional and reasonably priced. Friendly and helpful (even fixed a bed frame) can't say enough about them.
