the ikebana shop

During our first visit to Halifax, we passed by this shop while exploring and decided to have a look inside. It's a charming little shop with hints of Japanese culture out for display.Perfect place for gifts ranging from plushies, figures, notebooks, calligraphy sets, and a number of accessories and clothes. Very polite staff who are from Japan I believe.Will definitely come back on our next trip and bring a bigger luggage!

Such a lovely shop ❤️ I love to stop in whenever I’m in Halifax. The atmosphere is very calm and they have variety of items. My personal favourite things to get there are the Sanrio and San-X products :)

I have so much memories from this place. I used to go here all the time when I lived in Halifax. Such a great place. It still seems like it is like it was 5-6 frickin years ago. Time flys. Once again, such a great store. Please go here whenever you have the chance. The staff were always so nice and helpful.

I go here every once in a while to buy anime figures and merchandise. A very nice store the staff are nice and they have a decent selection.

I love it here. This place is really special to me for a variety of reasons. It's a cute, compact store with a calming yet exciting atmosphere due to all of the cool things you'll find. I absolutely admire what they're doing here, and it's nice to know that everything is authentic and well taken care of. I come here a lot to buy figures, stationary, and I've bought some Japanese language books as well. I usually bring my sister with me and she'll buy a plushie or some stationary as well. She's not a huge anime fan but she still has a good time here and is usually excited to hear when we're going to this shop. The staff are really nice and appreciative. I hope to see this business grow bigger, and be sure to check it out. If you're interested in anime, Japanese culture, or just want something new to look at, you'll love it here.

I come here for tomica, items are always displayed very well. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Favourite gift shop! Wonderful mix of items related to traditional Japanese culture and cute anime merch. Prices are fair and better than other stores that sell similar items. Great variety of stock, too!

Wonderful little shop. Their product seems both authentic and of good quality.I made a mistake recently and left some product behind I bought from the ikebana shop while I was distracted by another item. I called the store and they were very understanding and made sure to keep it aside for when I came by. I am very appreciative of this.Would recommend stopping by if you have the chance.

Frickin fantastic. Found a Pompompurin plushie and it made my entire year. There's also a great selection of figures.(I have no photos of the store but this is what I got there.)
