My build was a brand new 2 bedroom/1 bath carriage suite over an existing garage for myself and mother through 2021/2022 in a newer community. The experience was a combination of emotions - some good, some stressful. We went over budget and timeline for a number of reasons out of anyone's control. Connecting with Reg on the phone was challenging sometimes, (just as I have read in some other comments) but realized after a while he does read emails/texts (which there were a lot of). He provided as many discounts as possible and was more than fair with pricing. He will always respond on any urgent matter and keeps a calm demeanor even during stressful situations.Building during COVID did not help - supply chain issues, higher costs, etc.  There were a couple months of delays due to cold weather, trades not showing up or having to find new trades along the way. The trades that did work were excellent which I am thankful. I coordinated some work myself, and kept up with construction cleanup to keep things moving and help however I could.This review is very much about bringing to light that communication, efficient administration and follow up is really important to clients. If things are delayed, problems surface, or will cost more, clients should know asap.If your build is similar, offer to help, have accommodation planned in advance (if necessary) and maybe be prepared for a longer stay than you think. This Project took about 15 months from permit issue to completion.I was able to arrange the purchase/install of cabinets, shower glass, countertops, appliances, exterior brick, fireplace, light fixtures, mantle, half wall cap, exterior paint, screen door, window blinds, custom closets, bathroom mirror, medicine cabinet, towel bars, post construction duct cleaning and final suite cleaning.  I enjoy that piece...something one would not be able to do when using a big builder. There are a lot of moving pieces with a build like this...not an easy feat!!Bottom line....I was very happy with the quality of work and Reg will be there for you when in need. There are pros and cons to using an independent general contractor vs a builder. Each project will be unique as each client/homeowner will be as well.

We had spoken with Reg in November of 2021. He came to our home and we discussed a plan for a home to be built. He said he would do a quote and we would discuss a time to get started on the project. Since then there has been zero response back from him or his assistant/secretary. Almost an entire year and nobody can get back to my calls, emails or texts?! It was extremely unprofessional and rude. Apparently he was not concerned with losing business.

Had him and his team build me a new 2 car garage. I’m really happy with the work. It was very professional and had good communication with me. Planning on getting more work done from them in the future

Trades and suppliers and homeowners beware! My team and I completed a painting project for Reg last month and he initially seemed very organized and showed up on site with a deposit cheque. The site was very clean and everything but the drywall was done correctly. As we were nearing completion of the project Reg didn't answer my phone calls, emails or text messages and requests for final payment have gone mostly unanswered. Reg has since ceased any communication with me and owes me a significant amount of money, despite our excellent execution of the project and a request for one small touchup was also complete. This is truly an appalling way to conduct business and interfere with my ability to provide for my kids!

I hired Reg to do a fence, a concrete sidewalk, and a concrete patio. Reg was fantastic to deal with. He gave me options to choose from for how the sidewalk and patio should be set to make my yard look and feel it’s best. I’m extremely happy with the finished product and the overall experience with dealing with Reg and his guys. I would highly recommend Reg and his crew to anyone looking for any work done, they did great quality work and the whole process was painless.

I am so happy with my new garage these guys build . I would recommend them to anyone looking for this kind of service . They are very reliable and on time .
