We are so thankful for the expert help from Kelly at Bark Busters! We got a dog from a rescue that has severe separation anxiety and were afraid that we would have to give him up. He tore up 2 beds in his first week when we were out and would whine the whole time we were gone. It was so loud you could hear it from outside.When Kelly came the first time we were amazed at how insightful she was and the practical help she gave us. As we followed the plan she laid out, our pup has been much calmer and happier.After a while we got a bit lax with our training and he began to revert back to anxiety, but when we returned to Kelly's instruction, he got right back on track!!Thank you so much Kelly!

I’m thoroughly enjoying working with Kelly. Even though it’s only been a week, I’ve seen many positive changes in both my senior dogs. I was dealing with one of my dogs thinking she made all the decisions. To quote my vet, “she’s playing you”.Kelly walked me through a quiz that confirmed my dog was claiming all the points (control) confirming exactly what my vet told me.Kelly provides me with clear instructions, handouts and videos to guide me every step of the way. After an initial session with Kelly our 1 year old dog started allowing visitors into the house. Kelly taught us how to communicate with the dog more clearly. We are now working on walking manners and the first session went very well!

The program is easy to understand, practical, and made to succeed for you and your fur baby. The concepts are easy to understand and homework is straightforward. We continue to see marked improvements in our nervous dog's behaviour. He (and we!) are much more calm and confident. I feel great knowing that we are learning to be the confident pack leader our dog deserves. Kelly goes above and beyond; she is available and timely in answering questions and sending feedback. I recently acquired a puppy - it had been 15 years since I last had a puppy. The first two weeks were overwhelming! I ended up first hiring a trainer who was only available virtually. While this helped somewhat, it was not enough. I was starting to lose hope! I just couldn't seem to manage my puppy. I had two awful weeks.Enter: Kelly at Bark Busters. Having her come to us personally was, for us personally, a significant help. All of a sudden I could see that so much of what I was doing wrong was my body communication. This is something I wasn't really getting with the virtual only trainer. Nothing against that approach, but it just didn't work for me. Kelly came to our home and helped with our dog who has been having a barking problem. Keeping consistent with the techniques Kelly taught us we are already seeing improvements. Absolutely incredible!! Kelly is professional, very down to earth and has a unmistakable passion for her career as a behavior therapist and trainer. Myself and my two rescue dogs are new clients of Bark Busters and I don't feel like there could be a better fit! Each training plan is designed with yourself and Kelly together, and it is tailored to meet your individual needs. No matter the issue, Kelly has a solution to try! She is goal oriented. I reached out to Kelly from Barkbusters due to some issues we were experiencing with our dog Mazie. Kelly reached out right away with how Barkbusters works and we arranged for her to come to our home for our first session almost 2 weeks ago.Kelly was great to work with. She listened to our concerns about Mazie and after working with us and Mazie during that first home visit and observing the issues we wanted to work on she left us with some training exercises to work.After only a few days of practicing the exercises with Mazie we noticed right away a huge difference. Mazie would bark for example every time someone came to the front door and we were not sure how to correct this behaviour on our own. After practicing a technique that Kelly gave us to help with this problem we have not heard Mazie bark once at the front door. Couldn’t believe the difference in such a short amount of time. Kelly gave us the tools to be able to help us deal with Mazie’s barking.We had some questions that arose after our first lesson with Mazie that we were unsure of and wanted to just clarify that we were doing the homework correctly. Reached out to Kelly and she responded right away to answer our questions and make sure we are on the right track.We still have a long way to go but thanks to Kelly and Barkbusters we feel much more confident in our ability to work through and deal with any issue that may arise both now and in the future.

I have a German shepherd/husky who has extreme stranger danger/fear. He is a very sweet boy but his fear takes over and after an incident at my vets I knew I needed help. Kelly from Barkbusters came out to my house and I can not thank her enough. After a 3hr session I feel confident my furbaby will be ok, and me too. The best part of Barkbusters is the continuous support and training for my dogs life.It has been a week since my first session and my dog already looks to me for guidance and not reacting as he used to.
