Barber Squad

I have been to a couple of the local barbers and have tried this barber twice and I won't be changing barbers now. The service is excellent and the barber is very professional and good at what he does. He also has a high level of emotional intelligence, reading people well and engaging in conversation accordingly. I would highly recommend this business.

Barber Squad is an amazing barber shop. It is incredibly clean and inviting, while the staff are super friendly and approachable. Their service is also top notch while their prices are extremely competitive ($31 for a regular cut). Yusef gave me the best haircut I have ever had and made sure I was looking good for my upcoming wedding. He also gave me some styling tips for my hair as I was trying a new style. This is my new go to place for a hair cut.

Hands down the best barbershop in Edmonton. Every cut I get is never rushed and done to complete perfection. The shop owner pays extreme attention to detail and always goes out of his way to guarantee top customer satisfaction. Each experience delivers the best quality service you won't receive anywhere else. As for the shop itself, it cultivates an attractive aura as it is always kept clean, classy and stylish. Lastly, the owner always has great tunes playing, is very down to earth, and is a stellar individual overall. That being said, I always feel welcome in his shop and would recommend this location to anyone who wants a sharp, clean haircut.

The customer service deserves 0 stars. I had a horrible experience calling Barber Squad and inquiring about the services over the phone.I called this place on March 8th around 5:00 pm and spoke to somebody named Joe. I have never been to this barbershop before, so I had a few questions that I wanted to ask regarding the haircut service. To begin, I wanted to know if there were any barbers that could do skin fades and if they had Instagram accounts that I could checkout, so I could see examples of their previous work. I also wanted to know how much they charge for a skin fade. Finally, I asked about the length of the appointment.All of the questions that I asked were relevant and appropriate. These are all questions that could be asked by a potential customer. Also, the entire time that I was asking questions, I was respectful. However, from the very beginning of the conversation, Joe had a negative attitude and tone of voice. He seemed frustrated and annoyed that I was asking questions.He stated that, in all of his years as a barber, he has never had anyone ask these questions before, which is surprising. I replied by saying that I have only asked relevant questions pertaining to the business and none of the questions are inappropriate. Just because none of these questions were never asked before doesn't mean you should treat the person asking the questions with disrespect.In addition, he kept stating that he was with a client and thought I would only ask two questions. I clearly stated at the beginning of the conversation that I had a list of questions that I wanted to ask. Anyway, I then asked if there was someone else I could speak to, like a manager for example, but he said that he was the only one in the shop at the moment.Finally, Joe made a strange comment by saying, I thought you were only going to ask a couple questions

The guy that did my hair today was great. Very chill while he worked and did awesome! Very thorough in ensuring that I wasn’t covered in hair as I walked out. I feel really good about the cut that he gave!

If you want a superior cut, look no further. Hands down the best barber in edmonton. I absolutely recommend this shop! Love you brother.
