VP Protection Inc

Its been 6 months since I started with VP Protection. So far I've been working with a dynamic and diverse team. Everyone is very supportive and understands the work ahead. We all adjust to changes well and come together to fix problems that may arise. VP Protection is growing at rapid speed and I love that we're all excited about the changes that are currently taking place. The drive and the effort everyone brings to the table is making a huge impact on the company culture and ethics. As with any business it has its up's and downs, regardless, its what you make it, and I'm happy I can be part of the growth and development of this company.

Recently resigned as I am moving on in my law enforcement career. VP has been a tremendous asset in my development with the constant support from management with their on-going trianing. I originally started off assisting with special details/events and then moved full-time into their mobile response unit where I was promoted to Mobile Supervisor then Senior Supervisor. VP specialize in enforcement in high activity areas where we operate our highly visible security chargers and SUV (this is the unit where you make your money). My colleagues that work in these areas are amazing! Always professional and have a strong ability to build relationships in their areas. My day-to-day consisted of calls for service from our dispatch centre; we utilize a radio that connects all of our sites and mobile units; this keeps us in constant contact, should I require an additional unit to assist. Calls usually range from alarm, suspicious person(s) or activity, assisting another unit or site, and enforcing TPA. Highly recommended if you have the experience and you're going into policing to join their enforcement unit. If you're starting out in security, do their concierge positions to understand that the core value is customer service then ask to transfer to a mall to get hands-on experience on enforcement then their mobile and enforcement unit. Overall, solid team you're working with that are trying to get into policing; even ran into a few guys that use to work for VP before my time that are now in transit or policing.

I have worked with VP Protection for a few months now and I can honestly say that it is the best security company I have ever worked for. Management has been highly professional and understanding. VP Protection is not like the other larger companies who tend to not pay attention to their employees. Management has stepped their game up and many changes have been made within the last few months. Everyone works together to create a closely knit and welcoming atmosphere where everyone works together as a team. VP is a company that takes the time to get to know their employees on a personal level, which makes working there enjoyable, knowing that every individual employee is cared for.There are opportunities that have been made available that I have not seen in other security companies. Training is at a higher level and I believe I can see myself growing with this company and learning for years to come. I Would 1000% reccommend this company to others, as I have personally recommended it to my friends and previous co-workers. I feel lucky to have had the opportunity to work with the individuals I have, and I look forward to working with others to come.

I would surely recommend this. They have many sites. Staff is so co-operative and friendly. Good pay for some sites and not for some sites depending upon client. People and company is good. For me, it was my best experience in Security Industry for a year.

I was a mobile security guard with this company for about 3 month's and they would treat static security guards with no priority. Also after 3 months for no absolute reason they told me I didn't pass the probation period and I had perfect attendance. For future employees please be careful while on duty VP administration does not service the car's as frequently as they should. I seriously recommend people to not work here.

Unprofessional staff I thought it is good company to start my career but it is the same as all other companies out there i worked for they call you for an Interview as a full time and on spot they say the position is no longer and they hire for temporary positions to cover their covid sites and you dont know when they gonna remove you i wasted 3 day i travelled so long to just give an meaning less interview. Just like other companies its is same they hire temporary workers please don’t fall in this trap of lies

These guys are not hiring fresh license holders.DisgustingWhat are people going to do then if they are only hiring the experienced one.How are we going to get experience those who dont have .Even if the person is begging in front of them.then as well these guys are not gonna help.

They won't give you a set schedule and make you fight for shifts and if you make any mistakes they will let you go without notice. Don't waste your time, Infact leave the security industry it's a dead end.

This is a really good company. Only issue is whoever is the supervisor on site he or she not gonna do anything. I worked so many sites. Every site supervisor donot do patrol. They sit at desk they have to do one one patrol or 2 a day specially if its a condo. And their patrols are very small and different. Vp donot listen to guards, whatever supervisor say they will act according to that. That means u will get fired if you donot purchase gift on supervisor birthday or maybe if u Didnot buy coffee for him or her. Its not fare normal guards get less pay and more work.But as employee wise they are far better than any other company. Believe me. I love working for the company. But supervisor treat you as servants. There are lot more to say but i donot want to.

I would like to start by saying that in the time I have been working for VP Protection I have had times where I have needed immediate time off and management have been extremely accommodating. There is a sense of a family atmosphere where we all look out for each other’s needs and help where and when we can. I would definitely recommend this company for employment. It’s needed to be remembered that you get out of it what you put into any job for better opportunity.
