All my hardwood floors and deck wood came from JTM 18years ago. I went to buy a few 2x8 hemlock studs to extend the life of my deck. I had 3 studs left over and they accept no returns even within the same week. My deck is 75ft x 30ft and needed to be re-done in the next two years. It's impossible to figure exactly the quantity of wood when building a deck or even other projects. As much as Mike and his brother gave me great service this will prevent me from ordering any wood from them in the future. Very Sad! The return policy is my only reason for the 3 stars.

Bad for firewood. Uneven PIECES of firewood. Some are short, other long, some super light and some very heavy. I've even found rotten pieces in the lot. I've just left them outside! It's too bad because we used to go there for everything needed as far as wood renovations go. Next summer, we have 2 decks in bad shape that need to be replaced. We had planned to get our wood there. NOPE!! Will go elsewhere. Their loss!

Fantastic service. While waiting for my work to get done (which took 5 minutes and got done on the spot without appointment) I looked at their inventory, great stock available with fair prices. I will definitely be returning

Wanted to buy local and support local business but unable to order - called several times and no answer, so went to the mill with my list and was told just to email the request and they’ll have it ready for me, so went home and emailed - this was 3 weeks ago and no response, so ended up buying elsewhere. Seemingly can’t order by phone, in person or via email.

Went there a few time so far. They were very patient with me since I am just starting woodworking. The let choose my boards. Did not rush me and chop them to manageable size with a smile.

Unbelievable service, prices are fair, the order is always ready when they say and they'll customize anything you need. I drive up from Ottawa because they are that good. I would highly recommend.

THEY REFUSE TO RETURN MY $325 DEPOSITTHE WORST SERVICE IMAGINABLE. DO NOT ANSWER PHONE, OR RETURN CALLS, NOR EMAILS. ADDED TO THIS I GO THERE IN PERSON BECAUSE I CANNOT GET THEM ON THE PHONE OR EMAIL. THEN I FINALLY GET T AGREE ON MY STUFF I GIVE A DEPOSIT AND BACK TO NO PHONE/ EMAIL REPLIES. SO I ORDER ELSWHERE AND MY DEPOSIT EY REFUSE TO RETURNTHEY OPEN LATE 8:30, CLOSED BETWEEN 12- 1, CLOSED SATURDAY.THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. MY ORDER WAS OVER $4,000. I FOUND CHEAPER, BETTER SERVICE AND GOT MY ORDER IN A FEW DAYS, SOI HAPPY I WENT ELSWHERE. I THINK I'LL OPEN UP MY OWN SHOP IN THE AREA

Love this place, always received GREAT service. Reading other reviews I do agree that they can be difficult to reach on the phone BUT they are very busy so you need to be patient.
