What a disappointing experience. Visited the Cambridge location with my kid who is off to college in the fall and is looking for a good digital piano to take. We were greeted upon entering the store and that was all the attention we got. For the 30 minutes we were there looking at and trying out keyboards, not another single employee approached us to see if we needed help, or details about the keyboards, nothing. There were lots of guys working, mostly standing around shooting the breeze and, we did notice, spending lots of time with male customers....needless to say they did not make a sale with us. We went to Guelph and had a great experience, lots of help from several staff and a successful purchase. I think we have a new music store.

Fantastic staff. Shout out to Dave who has helped with a variety of drum questions. Great inventory and the store is well laid out. The staff are extremely helpful and attentive. I will recommend this place to others.

The Cambridge location has friendly staff who are knowledgeable and helpful. They are non intrusive and let you browse peacefully until you have a question.If it was not for the fact that every single electric guitar that I picked up was horrifically out of tune and in need of a serious truss rod adjustment I would rate this location much higher. I worked at L&M as a kid and I distinctly remember being instructed to make sure ALL GUITARS were in tune so customers would not get frustrated and walk away after picking up a train wreck of a guitar. It is extremely disappointing to come in intending to try a specific guitar and have it be absolutely unplayable.

Top notch service!! I ordered a couple of string sets online and unfortunately when they arrived one item was incorrect. Within 24 hours of reaching out to customer service, the Cambridge manager hand delivered the correct strings to my doorstep! Can’t beat that!

Great place! I bought my niece last year a keyboard from here as a special Christmas present, and she absolutely loves it! I purchased another keyboard from here (Casiotone CT-S300), and it has worked out very well.Music books: Great supply of piano books from the major brands: Piano Adventures, Bastien, Faber, Alfred's, etc. They also sell books of scales, Christmas piano music, Disney princess piano music, etc., etc.Instruments: They sell guitars (ridiculous amount of variety), pianos and keyboards to physically try out (around 9 in store), recorders, etc. They have some in stock to take home. We just purchased a full-sized electric piano today (Roland) with weighted keys and a wooden stand, and they had it in the back.Warranties are offered on instruments.Service: They are great at offering you help, and not to the point that it is annoying. They are friendly.Store size: It is quite large.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp leading up to their store.The wheelchair button wasn't working when I checked it though.Hours: Mon. - Fri. 10-8, Sat. 10-6, and Sun. 12-5.They have an online store to purchase their items as well.COVID: They have hand sanitizer at the door. They ask you to wait outside of the store if they are at capacity.
