I want to be really fair about my experience adopting a cat with Ena (for only 6 days).I called Ena for an adult cat to adopt. She was very friendly and had let me know that there is a woman fostering cats in Chilliwack; and that I am more than welcome to go meet them. I arrived at the fosters house and of the 20 or more cats living there, I was immediately drawn to 1 Himalayan female cat. I bought her and took her back to Vancouver.Within 5 minutes of letting her out of the kennel, I found the cat had a substantial bony growth (later learning this was from trauma). I called Ena the following day to let her know. She was very kind and understanding, and really shocked that this had went unnoticed. She asked for me to bring her to the Vet back in Abbotsford to have her examined.Upon my arrival, Ena and the Dr. took the cat from me, and Ena said that I can't go back with the cat because I am not paying. She evidently needed surgery to remove this bony mass and it was potentially cancerous, so was sent for a biopsy. They kept her overnight.I came back from Vancouver in the morning to take her home. It was when I got home I realized that this cat could not be left unsupervised when I go to work the following day, as she had numerous external and internal sutures.I called Ena to let her know that I would have to return her on account that in this circumstance, I am not able to provide the quality of care I feel a sick cat should receive. Ena was not sympathetic towards this situation, and in fact even said that this is my responsibility for adopting a cat."Obviously if this cat was adopted out as a healthy cat and later developed issues it would then be "my responsibility to own a cat". So furthermore

Ena is extremely helpful, kind and caring! She helped us get our cats fixed affordably and provided them with transportation to and from the vet. She has helped us with them when they were sick too. She's amazing with making the world a better place for cats and the people who love them!!!

Not only have I adopted through Ena's Community Cats but I've had her help through a very difficult time. I had a house fire while I was at work and both my kitties were inside. Thankfully they survived but it would have been impossible for me to come up with the atrocious fees and Ena helped me with those! I got my babies back good as new and I know it wouldn't have happened without Ena's help. I can't thank her enough

Enas has been amazing everytime she has helped us. We got both our boys neutered through her and she was soo very helpful. She even dropped off a cat carrier for us to borrow the day befor and she picked it up the day after. Dropped off our cats on her way back from the vet. I cant say enough good. Thank you ena for everything you do ❤

Ena is an amazing woman. She helped me get a lovely stray I adopted fixed up. As well as helped me when he got hurt and needed to be put down. And after I had time to heal. She connected me with the right people to find another kitty to adopt. She knows her cats and loves them all immensely. And will help any way she can. I recommend her to everyone now. Thank you Ena.

I remember that situation and please do not take it too seriously it sounded really sketchy. Ena has done more good than anyone in the rescue and care of cats. Our cat Charlie was one of Ena's rescues, the after care has been amazing. She is a caring hard working woman who absolutely gives her heart and life to animals.
