On Google here it said close at 7pm on Saturday, I show up at 6:40 wanting a Halo Halo dessert, but was told they already close. The open sign in front of them even said open till 8:00pm. I drove so far to get here just to be disappointed

This was recommended by our friends in Edmonton. We just had to grab a quick lunch before driving back to Calgary and we're glad we chose this place to have lunch over a Chinese restaurant that was also recommended. Place is tiny with only a few tables and some people had to wait to be sitted. It was lunch time so it was understandable. We ordered meat platter and sinigang na sugpo. They're delicious! On point! The meat were bbqued well and the sinigang had the perfect sour. It contained 4 pieces of sugpo which was enough for my husband and I. The 2 viands with rice were more than enough for the both of us and we had to take home our left overs. I also ordered taho and 2 piece turon for dessert. The taho would have been good but I prefer it warm- they served it cold straight from the fridge. The turon on the other had was good but it had a fish taste. It seem like they made use of the same oil they use for frying fish. Though I didn't mind but it could have been better. They can also add more sugar.I think the value and quality of food is good. Service is okay something you expect from the Philippines. They put automatic 10% service charge so we didn't bother adding tip. We'll definitely go back there again to our next visit in Edmonton.

I bought their Crispy Kare-Kare dish for my dinner and merienda pack of Palabok the little piece of lime inside the bowl is dried and instead of shrimp paste or (bagoong), I got a chili paste??? :(

Ordered through Uber eats to go get some halo-halo but unfortunately they don’t have it on the menu, knowing Uber sometimes don’t show everything the restaurant serves, I called the restaurant to confirm. They confirmed that they do have it, I was told to order Mai’s con yelo instead and leave a note with it then pay the remaining balance at the restaurant since halo-halo cost more than the Mai’s con yelo.Drove 30mins to get my halo-halo only to be given with mais con yelo. I told the lady this wasn’t my order and I left a note with it. She got upset and dismissed me right away saying “there’s no note” without even checking her system, she was so rude that some of the customer are starting to look at me like I was lying which makes it so embarrassing. I grabbed my phone and showed her the note, she didn’t even acknowledge how she gaslighted me when she kept insisting that I didn’t left a note.She said that I should’ve called Uber instead to change my order when I already called the restaurant and only did what I was instructed.

Ordered via Doordash. The serving for the lomi is a good amount for the price. However, I find the soup a little bland and a bit watery. For the chicken adobo, there is not enough balance of sourness and savory/saltiness and spice. Lots of room for improvement.

i ordered food for pickup like i always do clearly stated 2 orders of pares, 1 garkic fried ricw for 2 persons and 1 bistek tagalog.1st problem - sauce of pares as she handed me the plastic bags are all over the plastic bag already.2nd problem - my expected bistek tagalog is handed as beef with sinangag and itlog.3rd problem - i asked for cutleries and tissue but there is none on our food that i picked up.Hope the front lady cashier knows how to secure and bundle food that overflows the container and hopefully if it has sauce place it on the container like the one with the soup that will not spill.Will check again this place if they have address this issue

Consistently great longsilog when ordering from Uber Eats. The quality of the Longanisa is excellent but can't give full stars as they only allow delivery for the breakfast menu on Friday and Saturday.

Crazy how this receptionist/ server doesn’t greet any customers. Doesn’t serve them right away. We waited for 30 mins inside the store. We sat down. No one would greet us nor serve us. Eventually we just left this restaurant. That is now how you do customer service. Very disappointing. Previous visit of this store i did not want to complain of how rude the old lady server is. But this time just blew away my disappointment. This restaurant needs to take an action with the old lady server. This happened at 2pm today.

Wow. What an amazing experience! The service was great and the food was outstanding.The restaurant itself is a little hole-in-the-wall place located in a strip-mall just off 127th. The interior isn’t bad, but it seems like take-out is more of a priority than dine-in. It was kinda middle-of-the-road when it came to dining atmosphere.The food, however, was fantastic. I ordered the peanut pork Kare Kare. The pork was golden crispy on the outside, but melted in your mouth in the inside. While it wasn’t lean by any stretch of the imagination, the discerning food lover will know that fat=flavour. The sauce was a sweet and savoury peanut sauce mixed with vegetables. It went well with both the pork and the massive “side” of rice I ordered.My son ordered the coconut pork Bicol Express served with beans and eggplant. It had a flavour similar to a very mild Thai green curry, though the Filipino coconut was pink in colour. The vegetables and the sauce were incredible and also went very well with the rice. The pork was lean and crispy and highlighted the dish.There is so much more on the menu that I would like to explore and I’ll definitely be back.
