Our technician was totally professional -- Mike was timely, helpful and informative, and he took the time to explain to us a problem he found in our chimney during the inspection. Trustworthy! They came over and I had no idea if we needed work on the chimney. Told us we were in great shape. Brad, could have told us we needed work and we would not have known the difference. I am truly impressed with the service I received. The removal of the old stove was challenging (even needed some tile replacement, which they took care of immediately) and installation of the new stove was not easy either. The crew was super considerate, super clean and professional. I can say only good things about these guys. Brett was great at finding me the right stove (for a best price possible) and took the time to explain how to operate it. My wife and I recently had a tree fall on a portion of our roof/house in the fall that damage the roof and our chimney/fireplace. Brad and his team came out for a quality/accurate estimate within a short period of time and were very helpful on costs and workload to get a correct appraisal from our insurance company. Brett and Luis were great on getting the work started on a holiday week (Thanksgiving) and were able to get a lot of quality work done. We are very happy with their service. My family had just moved into our home, and wanted to have our fireplace inspected and cleaned, as it looked like it needed it before use. I am glad we did after seeing the camera footage and the pictures of the inside, as they were able to show us how dirty it was, and point out all the safety issues the previous homeowners hadn’t taken care of that would have caused us many more problems down the line. I recently bought a house and asked Chimney Monkey to come out and clean the chimney. After inspecting, the tech noted that the fireplace wasn't in safe condition to burn fires and quoted me 12k in repairs to make it usable. I called another reputable chimney company (recommended by a neighbor) who quoted me under 1k to get my chimney in good working order. Chimney Monkey's quote was literally 12x higher. There's no way to justify that price difference besides markups and gouging. Chimney Monkey also charged me for an estimate while the other company did not. I'd avoid Chimney Monkey, especially if you're new to home ownership like I am.Edit: for an apples to apples comparison, you quoted me around $1800 for parging and the other company completed the same work for $600. The inspection/estimate process for both companies were comparable (one visit with one technician) but I was charged for it with Chimney Monkey and not with the other. I feel extremely confident that the work that was completed was done well and makes my fireplace safe to operate. There's more than one company that conforms to codes and standards. Air travels from areas of high pressure to low pressure; it's not exactly rocket science.

Outstanding, talented, hardworking team. Installed flue liner, repaired smoke chamber. They covered our furniture, tented their workspace, took care to protect the house during the job. High quality work. I'd recommend these guys every day of the week.
