Getting a quote is so complicated, wow. As opposed to other companies, this one won't give it to you unless you let them send someone to your house. I also felt strangely pressured by the person I was talking to on the phone (who was trying to prevent me from hanging up by talking non-stop). Made me wonder how the company must be treating their employees if they have to act that desperate to close a deal...Edit: I'd like to add that someone called us 6 MONTHS after my first (and last) call, to follow up" and see if we were still interested... 6 months! And not just once

We had a great experience dealing with them. I would highly recommend them.

We have been working with Patio Design since November 2020, designing and planning in order for our project to be completed in early summer.The work began and was partially completed at the end of April 2021. The final patio is much different from the original plans we made because improper measurements were taken. Luckily this was sorted out at no additional cost, but was still disappointing. After the work was done, a pile of garbage was left on our lawn over the weekend and was only picked up the following Monday, and our yard was littered with cigarette butts.We have been waiting for our balcony to be completed since the end of April, and we were left with an unsecured platform (which should have been secured before leaving). After 2 months of not hearing back my husband emailed and I called twice before workers came to secure the platform, given we have small children.We were told that as soon as some missing pieces would arrive we would hear back to have the rest of the work scheduled with an estimated time of 2-3 weeks. It is now beginning of August and I have called Customer Service many times since the end of May, and we keep getting different answers each time, without any concrete plans to finish the work. Each time we have been told that someone would contact us, we have not been contacted and have had to take our own intiative to figure out what has been going on with the project.We are extremely disappointed and frustrated with the service we have received and continue to receive.

Very pleased with the professional and timely work done by all the Patio Design teams- sales, demo, pave, construction and scrap- plus very convenient to get email updates re crew arrivals and delays from Frederique and company. Some design changes had to be made per city by-laws and were quickly accommodated - and nice to have all the clean up done within 24 hours of completion. Thank you again Roger, Patrick, Kevin and all the gang- I am happy to recommend Patio Design to anyone who wants peace of mind when getting a major project done!

In my opinion,Bad customer service, comes with a lot of problems, doesn’t fix mistakes, doesn’t take ownership of problems. Makes customer wait a very long time. Doesn’t plan dates or call back customers. Gives customer partial treated wood.Leaves customers with a lot of cracked wood.Leaves customers with garbage energy drink can and cigarette buds.Would not recommend to anyone, especially for the price tag.To add to the previous user comments,Why does it take a public review to get attention from Patio design.We called many times, no answer.We leave messages, no reply.We emailed with photos, many email threads and no answer.When Patio design finally came to fix the problems over 2 weeks ago, they didn’t bring enough wood to fix the problems. See the photos, taken this weekend. Are you expecting the client to continuously bug you to fix existing problems? No follow-up. Customer service??The problems are still thereand let's just hope that things get resolved before one of my children gets splinters in their feet or hands. Luckily the railing that was completely detached did get fixed since my toddler almost fell off the deck with it.If I was an owner of this company, receiving this feedback and previous similar feedback, I would take ownership of the problems right away, not make a client go through a wild goose chase after you. We are talking about a project from April. It is summer!

A company who is quick to get you in a sell a deck of your dreams and why it would be worth the premium price tag with the so called premium wood that supposedly comes with it. Cash in the money and then the nightmare begins…. Extremely poor communication and bad customer service. They will hide from you in hopes that you will eventually give up. The deck came with an abundance of problems, from mistakes on the plan, non-reinforced railings, old wood that cracks and frays making it extremely dangerous for anyone who has children or furry friends. Try getting a hold of them, better luck playing the lottery. They don’t answer your calls or emails. When you finally get ahold of them, they have no answers to when someone can come fix your deck, they say they will call back but they don’t. You have to chase again and again. Sad to say that you can also tell that their internal communication is weak at the core. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone, they are a big company in it for the money and not service or their reputation. Biggest regret, especially after all that we have been through with covid…

I'm writing to share my negative experience with these guys, who installed a deck at my property a few years ago. The deck has since started sinking, posing safety risks. The company has been unresponsive and taken no responsibility for their work.The sinking issue arose because they didn't reinforce the ground around the posts, use gravel, or install anchors. I contacted them with photos of the damage but received no response. I had to hire another contractor to fix the problem.Please be cautious when considering them for your decking projects. Their lack of responsibility and unresponsiveness have left me with an unsafe deck requiring costly repairs.

We had our patio installed in September 2021 and the work was really beautiful.Some aspect remained to be settled at the start of the 2022 season. the team got in touch with them and they showed up on time. We have given them the contract for our chalet for this summer. Well done to the whole team!!
