Ontario Green Savings

Six months after my father's passing, our family was contacted by Solomon Jones, that they were collecting on a defaulted contract between Ontario Green Savings and my father. I was appalled to learn that they were asking for over $50,000 for the furnace and air conditioner they had sold to him.Since then, they have been entirely unwilling to answer any of our questions about how they conducted business with my Father, or why six months worth of interest and fees - amounting to almost $14,000 - were allowed to accumulate before we were made aware that the contract was in default.In addition to this, a lien has been placed against my father's house, which essentially holds it hostage against being sold until the matter is cleared up.Unless you are interested in paying over four times the amount a furnace or air conditioner should cost and you enjoy doing business with a company whose practices are unethical and immoral, do not do business with Ontario Green Savings.

Be careful and make sure to watch CBC marketplace video on YouTube about this company and think before working on anything with them. Based on that video, their people are commission based and they will push hard and tell you all kinds of scary stories to replace everything in your house, at very high long terms costs that you may not realize upfront.

PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!! I was called and misled and thankfully started looking into company online before they came to install anything. I backed out immediately before any install but so many others do not find out about this scam until it's to late. The fine print says they can run your credit and put LIEN on your home !!!!! They misled you to think they are with the government program but they are NOT and they move so quickly with distractions that you do not realize what you are getting and have agreed to. DO YOURSELF a FAVOUR and do not answer any calls from them.

Scam! They will try to use high pressure sales tactics to RENT out equipment that does not need replacement, and after “lease agreement “ has been signed they will go and place a lien on your home for whatever amount they want. STAY AWAY

High pressure sales tactics. Good luck every getting ahold of them. I have tried time and time again to get them to come service my Hepa filter cant ever get a hold of anyone. HORRIBLE company to deal with

Scam company stay far way! They even flood their Google review with 5 stars to hide the huge amount of 1 star reviews. Please what the Market place video on this company and how they will scam you into paying 4-10 times the amount the equipment is worth!

Horrible Scam Do not deal with this company. Praying on people claiming to save people money while robbing them blind.

Just because the furnace is over 10 years old does not mean it needs to be automatically replaced. Even if you have to make a few repairs it’s cheaper to repair the furnace in many cases my furnace is almost 30 years old and the only thing I’ve ever had to replace is the inducer motor and a circuit board. Total cost over the 30 year. For repairs was approximately $400 total for everything for 30 years. Best thing to do for furnace is change your air filters regularly. They should never get filthy.

Stay away from The most dishonest company ever. Will offer you a lot until they take your money. They installed they equipment, never explain anything, and the use of my gas didn't go down at all. Where their promise was never fulfilled. I have a cognision problem, therefore, I gave them the wrong check, they didn't have the guts to contact me but just send me to collection my file I AM ON a CPP disability pension plan. How a great an upgrade to my life I got it. STAY AWAY!!! DO TRUST A ONE SINGLE WORLD WHAT THEY SAY!!! Close the door and window. I DINT LOVER MY BILLS, I don't get anything they promised, I still paying for rental. for my water tank because they don't notified my provider and now I got another problem .Thank you for just creating problem for me

If these guys manage to swindle you into ANYTHING look up “consumer protection act” and make sure you cancel within the cooling off period, this is the previous company “Canadian Safety Standards” (number still saved in my phone from 2018). Please contact me for help if you get stuck — I successfully sued and won my case in small claims court. There is a lot of precedence that’s already been set and I have those court cases for reference.
