Project Climbing Centre

My family and I were in the area and thought we'd drop in to ask a few questions. We knew our children were most likely too young, but I wanted to get an idea of when I could start bringing them. We were met with a scoff about how they were too young and little to no information afterwards. We had the impression we werent worth the time. One of the staff couldn't be bothered to get off his phone, which honestly wouldn't of been a big deal had we felt welcomed.

Seems kinda strange that it took so long for Chilliwack to have gotten a climbing gym but that being said we are beyond stoked for project to have opened up here. Great addition to the community, and I’m looking forward to many hours spent here. Staff is so friendly and helpful, the routes are challenging but there is something that’s attainable for every level of climber. They have a great floor space to hang out and a gym upstairs for members and 4 auto belays. I highly recommend everyone to try rock climbing no matter your age. Welcome to the neighbourhood Brock and Project Crew!

I have always had excellent service here. I got to see the true skill of the staff when dealing with a the customer is always right" situation during spring break.I showed up here and heard a lady complaining to the staff because they wouldn't let her 9 month old baby put on a harness and use the auto-belay wall.The staff were very professional informing the family that a child has to be at lest 72 month and her 9 month old likely doesn't have the reach or grip strength to safely climb

Impeccable staff, clean gym, great vibes. I like that there’s both bouldering and repelling available.

A good climbing gym. The staff are friendly. If you have never been there, the registration is done via cell phone, which I found very good. Then you get a short briefing, and then you can climb alone. There are many different routes, which are marked with the difficulty V0 to V10. As a beginner, I had the feeling that I could create a maximum V2 route, because the difficulty increases very start. In addition, there were quite a few easy routes. I think it is more of a climbing gym for people who go climbing more often. Towards the end, when we took off our shoes again, our socks were completely soaked with the blue color of the climbing shoes.Despite everything, it was fun.

So glad we found this place. It is awesome! Staff are welcoming and atmosphere is always positive. Had an 8yr old bday party and the 2 staff that helped out with all of them were fantastic!!

Super excited that Chilliwack finally has a bouldering gym! The setting so far is good and the facility is clean and modern, albeit a bit small.I’m not a fan of the member-only upstairs area. Daypass users can’t hangboard? That’s a silly rule that I hope is removed in the future. This gym could also include more seating, which is sparse during peak hours.

A new climbing centre, it has lots of different routes, angles, and equipment to use. Time will tell if it's location and parking will hold up.

Great and spacious gym. Staff was very helpful and friendly. A little dusty in there because they don't have a liquid chalk only rule, but wasn't an issue for me (maybe an issue for anyone with sensitive allergies). A wide variety of puzzles and lots or space for storage or seating. Mostly a bouldering gym but had some set up with autobelay. Very affordable shoe and harness rentals and really convenient chalk rental! Had a great time with friends and family.
