Ashby House Bed & Breakfast
Ashby house was a great place to stay - a colleague and I were there in April 2015. We stayed 5 nights and found it a wonderful home. Both Mary Anne and Robin were brilliant hosts and we felt very well cared for. There is a cat and a dog at the b&b so don't go if you have allergies or a problem with animals but everything was clean and well cared for with lots of character. Also in a great location.

My first visit to Ashby House was postponed in 2019 due to COVID. At that time Robin and Mary-Anne showed great consideration and kindness by offering me a full refund. I was shown the same kindness and consideration by Robin and those helping him to make my recent stay a truly memorable one. I cannot recommend all this this bed and breakfast has to offer more highly.Marise

I stayed at Ashbury House about a mile th ago. Celebrating my 70th birthday. It looked lovely on the website and for a night in Vancouver I thought it would be perfect. NOT. It was dirty, old and the breakfast was terrible. Cold pancakes a bit of fruit and tea coffee or juice. The host Robin is over his head and anytime I asked a question about anything he stormed away. He then slammed his fist on the dining room table and stormed out and said I will see you on the morning. He was scary. I enjoyed being in Vancouver but did not enjoy his place or his attitude. DO NOT STAY HERE. .

Really great Victorian house with very knowledgeable owners. It is an older home so there are the usual issues. Each room has a private bath but they are small. The furniture was beautiful and the library amazing. Would definitely go back!

Great spot in a nice neighborhood of Vancouver. Breakfast was delicious with tons of fresh fruit, toast, and eggs. Rooms are tidy and clean.Lots of nice restaurants at walking distance and even Stanley Park is at walking distance, which is great.Hosts were nice and the cat and dog are sweet as well.Would recommend staying here if you go to Vancouver!

Fantastic b&b; lovely house, wonderful hosts, excellent breakfast and loveable pets. With the location and pampering feeling, you can't really ask for more. We stayed here before and will absolutely do it again!

This was the first experience I've had at a bed and breakfast and I must say it was just wonderful. The people were interesting and friendly, and the atmosphere was laid back. Breakfast was healthy and on time, but most of all we got to meet different people from around the world which made for appealing conversations. I would highly recommend staying here!

Mari-Anne(sp)and Robin have the most unique and wonderful home to share with travellers. We have been there three times now and it keeps getting better. I feel bad if we don't stay there when we visit our daughter. On one occasion they allowed Sam (our daughter) to stay over night...no charge; with breakfast. A true gem in Vancouver. Robin and MaryAnne have painstakingly restored this heritage house to it's former glory. They are welcoming and accommodating hosts and the neighbourhood is the best in Vancouver. Sitting on the covered porch overlooking the English Garden is one of my favourite places to be in the world.
