This is such a wonderful vet. They treat my dog so well and are always kind and informative. Would highly recommend!

Very disappointed with the service and care I've received here.My cat began licking his groin area frequently enough to develop sores and eventually began a second spot just above it.In 3 visits all Dr Connell could suggest was flea medication despite showing absolutely no evidence of fleas. (I did put him on a course anyways, but drew the line when she suggested a second course for the same issue)I brough him in again after I found bloody urine in his litter and I felt a mass in his abdomen extending from the two spots he licks. Her only wisdom was that I should have him on wet food, and I was refused bloodwork/urinalysis without him being sedated and brought back another day (he was stressed being grabbed, but he is not an aggressive/anxious cat and I've never had any of my cats sedated for routine blood/urine work, the vets and vet assistants should be able to do this without sedating the animal)She then left me in the room for 15 minutes, came back, and terminated our patient relationship leaving me with no answers.

Great vets and staff, super kind and knowledgeable. Took great care of my kitty and gave us an effective treatment option that made my kitty better

Parking space is ok. Getting out is a bit tricky depending on which way. Going to Port Moody's direction is easy. Going to Burnaby is a bit dangerous. Try not to cut a cross-double line toward the Burnaby side. Drive a bit and go through a stop sign and get through Burnaby's side.

All my visits have been professional, friendly, and feel very trust worthy. Would highly recommend.

Maybe they are a great vet once they accept your pet but not before...My experience is I am being told they aren't currently accepting new patients and to come back and ask every few months. TO MY SURPRISE, they have accepted new patients since refusing me. This leaves me with a very negative feeling.Not happy. Don't leave me with hope. If you have specific criterias for new patients, be up front and don't lead me on!

Fabulous front desk staff and back of house. Love that they take the time to hear the issue. They will also talk you through things over the phone before you decide on options or next steps. Genuine care.

Our family dogs have been patients at the Burquitlam Animal Hospital for over twenty years - my parents have known and trusted Dr. Hopkins and his associates for as long as I can remember. Since I moved back into the area with my own puppy, I find myself more and more grateful to this clinic with every new experience we have. Our guy is 11 months old now and has mostly dealt with basic stuff (his neuter, a couple ear infections, a stomach issue), and this place impresses me every time. From really kind and intelligent receptionists, to the excellent communication and treatment from the vet assistants and the vets themselves, my boyfriend and I are both so impressed and so happy to have a clinic that we trust wholeheartedly.
