I purchased a 2020 GMC Sierra on Thursday, February 23, 2023 from Boucherville Chrysler.As an out of province purchase - before I arrived, I was told that everything was in good condition. I was travelling over 1100 km for the purchase and I wanted to make sure everything was in working order.Before my purchase, I was sent a document - NOTICE CONCERNING THE LEGAL GUARANTEE" which states that "The law provides a guarantee on all goods you purchase or lease: they must be durable in normal use for a reasonable length of time. The Consumer Protection Act provides a guarantee on all goods you purchase or lease from a merchant. The goods must:• be fit for the purposes for which goods of that kind are ordinarily used (section 37 of the Act)

The interaction while working on a price and paperwork for a truck was fine, but once I flew out to pick up the truck and was in ownership, all communication was ignored. The truck did not include a user manual, which I feel should be included as standard policy. I reached out no less than 4 times asking if one could be sent to me and was ignored every single time. I feel like when $50,000+ is spent on a vehicle, an included manual shouldn't be too much to ask.

I was given an appointment at 11, after driving an hour to get there, the person wasn’t working … after waiting an hour in the waiting room, no one was available to help me, I ended up leaving.

Deceptive advertising 2021 vehicle I placed deposit on attempting to purchase from 2000 miles away, did not have mileage as advertised or condition as advertised salesman JEAN continued to attempt to deceive me for over a week in spite of my requests for full disclosure of condition,. Sales manager finally stepped in and disclosed extensive damage on vehicle... deposit was refunded, no compensation offered for the 3 weeks of problems and costs involved in this mess.
