Rick from Budget Brake & Muffler referred me to Don at West Yale, who takes care of all of Rick’s AC compression work. Don was friendly, professional and a treat to chat with. He ordered an AC Compressor in and with integrity, shared that he wouldn’t install it in my car as that wasn’t the issue and it was my timing chain that was going. Needless to say, I’m very grateful and he gets full respect for being honest and a stand-up guy. Shortly I returned to him to get work on my next car that needed several things repaired and he and Auggie(spelling?) did a bang-up job of the car and I’m very pleased. Thanks guys! Fantastic service! The alternator in our F-350 started failing about 15 minutes from Chilliwack as we were enroute to Vancouver from Kelowna. We called one of the other shops in town, but were told they wouldn’t be able to provide us service the same day. I asked if they could recommend another shop that might be able to help and we were directed to West Yale. I generally have pretty high expectations when a recommendation comes from a peer/competitor, and I was not let down. We called and were directed to come right over and they checked the vehicle out immediately. Diagnoses was confirmed and we were prepared for a long wait and a large bill. He said it would only take an hour and an hour later the work was completed! The cost was very reasonable and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. We were also able to spend that hour at a nice little diner directly across the street, which was a very welcome convenience!

They were very straightforward and only focused on fixing the problem and not trying to upsell anything.

Quoted a price and then they attempted a bump it once I arrived. They somehow managed to puncture a fuel line on my vehicle as well. Terrible experience...one of the best examples of incompetence... You've been warned.

Great service. Was from out of town and needed quick repairs. They did everything possible to get my car back in order in a fast amount of time.

Had to get an out of Province inspection on my classic 69 and Don and his crew fit me in with only a few days notice. They understand old cars and even managed to swap out the weeping Master Cylinder the same day, and all at a very reasonable price. Great guys and service!
