There is a world of difference between a piano technician and a piano tuner. A piano tuner will come to your house and bang out a tuning in 45 mins before they are off to the next tuning. A piano technician will also tune the piano, but they can also make the often finicky adjustments to the hundreds of parts in the piano which affect its tone and playability. If you’re a discerning musician you know exactly what I am taking about.You’ll find a piano tuner pretty much in any city or community. But when you find a piano technician, a really excellent technician, you say a silent prayer of thanks to the music gods for sending someone like that your way!James is a really excellent piano technician.
