Kanata Foot & Orthotics Clinic

Melanie made me custom orthotics and they have been a gamechanger! I went back a month later and ordered a second pair. The staff was super friendly and am planning to now get a third pair.

I was booked to see Melanie in Dec 2022. Got there and most of measurements for my orthotics were done by a student. Melanie came at the end to do the final inspection. Paid a hefty price for my orthotics.A few weeks later I started experiencing a nagging pain on the left foot. I should have brought it back but I never did and now it’s too late.Today I have been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. Have to get a new pair of inner soles made with the correct height adjustments.I’m not happy with Melanie. I won’t recommend her to anyone.

I (Bala) have been seeing Melanie Gagnon every two months for last 2 years to remove foot corn and she has been great!But this place (the owner) keep increasing the fees ridiculously. For a follow up visit (Chiropody) they were charging $50 per visit early last year. Then mid of last year the fee was increased to $60 (20% rate hike) and now increased to $75 (another 25% hike) and they are blaming inflation. Please don’t blame inflation for the price gouging. You are causing the inflation. Inflation last year was 2% and 8% now incase if you don’t know.

Fantastic group of people working at the clinic. Dr. Barron fixed a toe nail issue I was having for months quickly & painlessly. I certainly appreciated the explanations he provided to why I was experiencing the problem.Their team, especially their receptionists, went above & beyond their duties, by helping entertain my 16 month old while I was having my toenail addressed. If anyone with kids know, they tend to not be the most patient, words can't express how grateful I am that they did this for me.Overall, every aspect of the visit by amazing & I will certainly be back with any future issues that may arise.

Melanie Gagnon is highly recommended. I went with a numbness on my foot and pain when walking, she gave me a customized orthotics for my feet which helped alot!

I had two pairs of orthotics done by Melanie. It was the first time I had some made and had a bit of difficulty getting used to them at first. Melanie offered to adjust them (no cost) and provided a quick and professional service. I wear them every day and I no longer have lower back and knee pain since. I also had other treatments done for my feet with her and had great service. I would recommend her, she’s very knowledgeable.

I have nothing but great things to say about this clinic. I've been to this clinic twice in 2021. Their reception is very courteous and professional. They always respond to my emails within 24 hours. They do reminder calls (which I didn't ask for - to be honest, I don't need it but it's nice that they do it).For both visits, I've had the pleasure with working with Chiropodist, Melanie. She's absolutely amazing. She made great recommendations for shoes and creams to use for my condition.I had a pair of Orthotics done 3 weeks ago. I've had my fair share of Orthotics in my lifetime and this is the best pair I've had. Melanie listens and was able to create a pair based on my feet needs and my preferences. Definitely affordable (unlike another clinic in Westboro that cost $300 more...total eye roll). All paperwork was ready for me to submit to insurance.I highly recommend this clinic! If you live in Kanata, definitely get your foot care done here.

I have visited the clinic for foot pain and found out I need custom orthotics. Melanie payed attention to my needs and thoroughly explained why I was experiencing pain. I currently don’t have anymore pain. She even suggested certains shoes to fit my high arch. Overall, the Kanata foot clinic team was well organized and quick to respond to questions. I would recommend to a friend.

I saw Melanie to get new orthotics made following chronic knee and hip pain. The process was seamless and quick, with modern looking technology. Melanie was friendly and knowledgeable. I now wear my new orthotics in my day to day shoes and have not experienced any pain since. Would recommend this podiatrist and clinic.
