I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the exceptional team at Ironwood Animal Hospital. During my dog's battle with kidney failure, Dr. Kaylanorth, technician Alisha, receptionist Alex, and the entire staff provided us with not only professional care but also a comforting and positive atmosphere. They truly listened to our concerns and engaged in thoughtful discussions about treatment options. Despite the unfortunate outcome of my dog's passing, they handled every detail with remarkable efficiency and minimized our pain during this difficult time. I am especially grateful to technician Alisha for her exceptional compassion. The team even made an exception for us to visit our beloved dog one last time the following day, which meant the world to our family. Their humanity and dedication are truly commendable. I would like to thank Ironwood Animal Hospital for their outstanding care and support. You have our deepest appreciation.

My 14 month old Golden Retriever was viciously attacked by a very aggressive Large White Husky Type looking Mixed Breed . Sunday our previous Vet was closed, so I took Kona to Ironwood location. The Doctor was very nice, explaining a few different options at 2 price points. Ended up selecting the most thorough option (which was actually less than I anticipated). Required some Anesthesia, numerous stitches to close the Deep Puncture wounds on his chest, and Drains inserted to prevent swelling and infection. My dog had a few follow up appointments to check the progress of healing now totally healed" and during each

When I first came to ironwood, I was impressed at how efficient everything was. At some point, it seems some staff has changed and almost every time I make an order, something is left out. Fine. But it seems attitudes are also getting worse. I called in because the subcutaneous fluid I ordered was missing a component that I usually use (I used one that I got from VCA), but after a couple questions, the staff's attitude suddenly changed and she asked in an incredulous tone have you even done this before?" I don't think it was a huge ordeal to simply answer the questions I had. It was resolved after a couple more questions. The entire phone call lasted 3 minutes 44 seconds. I am leaving this review not to deter others from going here

If I could get this place shut down and -0, I would. Not going into details. Brought my dog there for a week of treatment and test, nothing was working and they kept selling me stuff, one day she was so bad she clasped, couldn't eat or walk. I called desperate for help as they were open for another hour, they told me to take her somewhere else as they wouldn't have time for more test. I said she's dying and you have been treating her , you know what's going on. They said take her to emergency in Vancouver. I ran out the door to emergency, she was on her last legs. they contacted Ironwood for her file. She had to be let go. Devastated to see her suffer so much. For the week of treatment the emergency run. Not one follow up from these people. They had no problem taking almost $1,000.00 from me that week, but when my girl needed them , they shut the door early and said go somewhere else.

Very good experience. We took our dog for a simple surgery here, our dog is a bit over excited but the stuff here are super patient with him. Price is very affordable too. Definitely will go again. Thanks to all the stuff in Ironwood animal hospital.

Love the place as it is ver clean and friendly staffs. The doctor is very patience and honest in giving prognosis. I'm happy for the service.

It's a very sad week for my entire family to see our little family member Doudou had to be put down due to suffering from his illness.Ironwood animal Hospital has been helping us with clear information and has been helping us thru our grieving. Also invite my dad in to spend time with him. it's a very hard toll on him to see his beloved Doudou passed away.

Dr. Art Ceballos is a kind and caring vet with a no-nonsense approach that I value. He cares. And he doesn't offer you medications that you don't need. He is open to you asking questions and he gives you options. He gives you solid advice and he is there when the chips are down. I had to put my dog down today. He was getting very old and was in pain. My husband carried him from our car to the clinic because my dog couldn't walk and at one point, they both went down near the entrance, as our dog began to slip from my husband's arms. Thankfully, my husband knelt down on the concrete, so that they neither fell, but how to get the dog back up again? Our beautiful dog was ninety pounds. Dr. Art was there and he carried our dog, lifting him from the concrete and carrying him in his arms like one might carry a baby, and in a way that didn't hurt him. He carried him with the utmost care and took him to a private room, where we followed close behind. We were able to comfort our dog and Dr. Art was very kind to him. You can tell he really likes animals. I am so glad we took our beloved Tiberius to Ironwood Animal Hospital. And I want to thank the professional and kind staff at Ironwood Animal Hospital and their Seafair Animal clinic.
