Ridiculously priced products. Go to Lowes or Home Depot. Staff are all lemons and can’t even handle a refund without screwing up

Ordered and paid for a patio door 4 months ago. Slegg said that it would be available in 2 months. So 4 months later I called and asked if the patio door arrived. Yep it had arrived. They couldn’t tell me when it arrived or why they didn’t call to let me know. No apology whatsoever. Slegg is just another disorganized business.

Today I ended up at Slegg after striking out at Lowes for Melamine shelving materials. Although Slegg does not have as much selection as what Lowe's and Home Depot provide with hardware and consumer retail goods, they do keep their construction warehouse well stocked and organized. It's great to have them in my neighbourhood!

The Cool Aid Housing Society would like to say a big thank you to Scott and the Slegg Lumber team at Admiral Road. He was so helpful and generous with his time and resources to help us bring together a community garden project at Queen’s Manor, Support Housing Site. The residents very much look forward to growing vegetables and herbs in their new raised garden bed, thanks to Slegg donating lumber. Thank you again, it was such a pleasure working with you!

Just an absolutely awful place to shop. The staff are totally worthless and the prices are way to high. Slegg won't list prices because they don't want to bother matching the price of their competitors. If you are in Langford save ypur time ND money by shopping at Home Depot.

Great place, friendly people. Sure wish they were open Saturdays though! Usually end up having to do business with Home Depot or Castle instead.

Sleggs provided materials for our community garden project at a discount, on short notice. On top of that, I got really great service loading heavy materials into my van (before the yard staff even knew it was for a charity), and then to top it off they stayed late when I ended up having to make two trips, in order to get the materials onsite for a work party the next day. I was blown away by how generous they were. Really fantastic community-minded operation.

I like the store and have always found the staff helpful. But I don’t like being told I can’t be in the store with my backpack, especially when I came on my bike. If you need to do this to deter shoplifting, you should provide secure lockers for backpacks, purses, panniers, shopping bags, fanny packs, etc…
