Royal Mercato Grocery Store

You have great products and high-quality meat. Please don’t ruin it by not committing to your store hours. It says on your door Sat. Open at 9 and now it is after 10 am and your store is closed. I don’t think anyone wants to travel more than 10km to find the store closed. There is no phone to call. I like the meat but I don't think I will come again because I don’t know if you will be open

Top notch customer service!! Super friendly, offered us coffee! Got some awesome beef jerky, and some steaks . Looking forward to trying all the goodies we got!

What a friendly place, I'm glad we stopped in to check it out. We only bought some meat, but I'll definitely be back again to try their desserts.

The Giant Macarons and Baklava are 100% worth the trip alone. The macarons are MASSIVE and are made to perfection. The Baklava is not overly sweet but uses a large amount of pistachios and is absolutely delicious. Everything I have tasted thus far has been freshly made.The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They have gone above and beyond to help me find certain items.This place is now one of my regular go to stores and has turned me into a loyal customer.

The store is owned by lovely people and has a wonderful concept. I have always struggled finding halal organic meats and was delighted to find a place that sells them. The meat we purchased was fresh and deliciousHowever, I also bought other items like pasta, marshmallows, jam spread, cookies… every single item I purchased was after the Best Before date when sold. Habitually I don’t check item’s expiry dates prior to purchasing since it’s a given a store wouldn’t sell that. Pasta i purchased in April had a Best Before date of Feb 2023 and malmoul cookies had a Best Before date of December 2022. I was very disappointed upon discovering and won’t be making the trip over again.I have attempted to call the store a few times to let them know prior to my review.I wish you the very best but until proper inventory control practices are established, you have lost a customer in me.

This place is amazing!!! Dude, best price for meat, produce and baked goods in the city. And the quality is fantastic!!! They have spices that I haven't found anywhere in Canada. Everything my wife and I bought from here has already been eaten. I don't even know what half of it was, but it was delicious. AND, the owners are cool AS BEANS!!》GO TO THIS GROCERY STORE《

Looked at the reviews before I went and they said the cakes & pastries were amazing, so I went.. what a huge mistake. Probably the worst chocolate cake I’ve ever had in my life. It was so dry it just crumbled to bits in my mouth, my husband didn’t believe me & he literally eats everything so he tried and also said it was disgusting. We each had one bite and threw it out. Also had the red velvet that was not good, it looks so moist but it was dry too! Will not be coming back here. I will say their macarons were huge and pretty good but that’s about it. If you want cake, go elsewhere.

I had a great experience today! They have a lovely selection of food, sweets and meat. I got produce which was of fresh quality. The store is new and they still have a few things they are organizing inside from the opening but it flows really well. The owner was an absolute gem. Highly recommend getting food from here, you won’t be disappointed!

The Royal Mercato is an excellent marketplace with all kinds of goodies and wonderful customer service. Their macarons, cupcakes and desserts are to die for, they bake bread and pastries in house and have a great selection of meats, cheese and produce, all for a good price. Would highly recommend and can't wait to go again!
