Being trying to have everything go right on my anniversary for more than three years now and I'm so glad it finally did thanks to Scaramouche.I do the reservations for my husband and I read tons of reviews on the place and it was an absolute dream come true. Absolutely one of my favourite restaurants in the city. It’s been around for so long for a reason!Wonderful city views, incredible service and in my opinion worth every penny for the experience.Please never take the peppercorn fettuccine off the menu!! I have a tree nut allergy and they are able to accommodate this famous dish for me by not adding the pine nut crust. It is one of my favourite things I’ve ever eaten here and a must try if you come.

A wonderful night in Scaramouche. We reserved the seats next the window which has the view of downtown- the view is breathtaking!Our waiter is terrific, the dishes and wine he suggested are great, and he managed to serve the wine perfectly with 5 of us. You barely felt his movement the whole night, very professional.I had the duck, which is nicely cooked, the taste is just right for all the ingredients in my plate. And the best part is the dish is carefully designed to balanced the tenderness, creamy, sweet and salty, and crunchy together. I usually can’t finish the main course since we ordered a lot appetizers, but I almost leaked the plate for this wonderful dish.It is a memorable night, nothing to complain except the tempo of ladies bathroom is a little bit cold on that night.

When the GPS took us to the location , we were a little confused of where Scaramouche was due to it leading us in a condo complex. However, once you park on the curb for thee complimentary valet parking, you will see the entrance on the left corner of one of the condos. It’s highly recommended to make a reservation as we came on a weekday dinner, and it quickly filled up (I’m not sure if they even do walk ins!).There is a complimentary coat check right at the entrance if you’d like to leave your jacket behind, and the restaurant will be down the stairs. At first our host placed us in a dark spot for the two of us, but luckily we were able to ask our server to give us another seat by the dining room with the opened windows. It made a huge difference as the wall was blocking the windows, which meant there wasn’t any light, and felt off as it was by itself on the wall. The opened window room gives diners a beautiful view of Toronto - so if you can, try to get a seat there.We tried a couple of items on the menu, and the highlight for me were the Sea Scallops. It’s very apparent they use fresh ingredients as the scallops were tender, juicy and not as “chewy” as frozen scallops. If you enjoy scallops, I highly recommend ordering this dish on your next visit!IG: Ayenomz

We chose this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. And it was a great experience. So much attention from our waiter, he was professional and knowledgeable. The food exceeded our expectations, and let me tell you. The filet mignon is one of the best in Toronto. Only Don Alfonso can compete. The cut was extremely tender, cooked to perfection (as ordered, rare), chicken was very tender too. The coconut cream pie is delicious! And the chocolate cake was so good as well, had many textures and elements in it. The atmosphere is so cozy and high end, it felt like a restaurant in Paris. They have a wonderful view from the balcony, if you are lucky enough, they let you go and enjoy it for some time. The only downside was that it was our anniversary and my partner mentioned it in the reservation notes, but no one acknowledged it. A simple “happy anniversary!” would do :). But that’s my only complain. Beautiful, wonderful dining experience. Definitely recommend ♥️

Never would I have expected a restaurant on the lower level of a residential building off a side street of Avenue Road to have a gorgeous view of the city. Each dish is beautifully plated and the flavours, thoughtfully combined. On top of that, the service is phenomenal.

One of the best restaurant experiences ever thanks not only to the Fantastic food but the wonderful service from start to finish by all the staff. No wonder they have been around for decades. Perfect place for those special.

Scaramouche Restaurant
My husband and I celebrated my birthday at Scaramouche last night. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Complimentary valet, attentive service, beautiful view by the window, delicious food - what more can I say? We would recommend the ravioli and bread with hummus appetizers, the filet mignon main dish, and coconut cream pie for dessert. Don’t forget to order a side of the parm fries! Would not hesitate to return and spend another special occasion at this restaurant.

Pro Tip: Valet parking is included and the entrance is unmarked. When you arrive at the condominium, enter the roundabout and look/wait for the valet at the condo roundabout.Must try if you’re in town. This place is a Michelin Gourmand Bib but on its way to a star for sure. Every little bite was perfect and kudos to the pastry sous chef Shienita for her amazing talents and she even came out to take a picture with me!
