Kylie is an amazing lactation consultant, my only regret was not contacting her sooner in my breastfeeding journey. Kylie came in to our lives when I was at my lowest point when I was truely struggling with breastfeeding. At this point my daughter had her first of three tongue tie releases, and had dropped wieght, my doctor had told my to only bottle feed at this point, and the stress had diminished my supply next to nothing. Kylie came in and reassured us that this was nothing but a bump in the road. She was empathetic and caring, and truely made me feel like I could do it and she was in my corner. Without her there is no way I would be breastfeeding to this day. I'm happy to say with are breastshield, feeding tube and bottle free for months now, something I could have only dreamed of. She has been with us through our other two tongue tie releases. She is very knowledgeable on tongue ties and has continued to educate herself on the most recent developments in health care regarding tongue ties. At our breastfeeding group anytime a new mom comes in with a babe that sounds like they have tongue tie all the mom's recommend Kylie... You get so much more than just a lactation consultant when you become Kylie's client. ♥️

During the first few weeks of my first child's life, the experience was not what I expected. I had developed a severe breast infection that several doctors had misdiagnosed and I was at my wits end. I was in constant pain from pumping and breastfeeding. Despite this, my baby was getting hardly any milk. It was a nightmare and my life was consumed by pumping. I didn't feel like I even had time to be a mother. Until Kylie came into my life, I wanted to give up on the idea of breastfeeding and pumping all together.We contacted Kylie on the advice of a friend and my husband and I could not be happier that we did. Kylie was a constant support and advocate for myself and for my new baby. She was very easy to approach about concerns I had and was always available to provide me with knowledgeable advice. Her support has allowed me to start enjoy the experience I am able to have with my newborn.Kylie is someone that genuinely cares for her clients and works hard to make sure that they are supported. She is an amazing resource in the community. Anyone that I've spoken to that knows her has only the absolute best to say about her. Any mother would be wise to touch base with her to make the transition into parenthood that much better. I wish I could give her more than five stars in the review.

We were referred to Kylie by our doula when we got home from the hospital - our baby had a pretty intense case of jaundice and was having trouble latching. We later learned (through Kylie!) that our little one had a tongue tie. I've since come to think that i'm glad for the tongue tie because it brought us to meet Kylie. I can't even begin to express how her support has impacted our family, but i'll do my best here. Kylie is wise, generous, knowledgeable, reassuring, and so kind. She helped us to better understand our little person in ways beyond nursing. She seems to really 'get' babies and helped us to do the same and find a rhythm in those early weeks that are so challenging and can be scary because everything is so new. With Kylie's help we're having a lovely breastfeeding relationship and no troubles anymore with latch, and we've actually had improved sleep, play time, and just over all quality of life because of her guidance and support. If you're on the fence or considering a lactation consultant, I can't recommend Kylie highly enough!

I can’t sing Kylie’s praises enough. She is warm, intelligent, and very professional. She is a wealth of knowledge and we are so lucky to have her as a resource here in HRM. Her sessions are packed full of help and guidance, something every new mom should invest in if they are feeling they need support. Kylie completely turned our breastfeeding journey on its head (for the better!) after a rocky start. Similar to an earlier reviewer, I wish I could give her 15 stars. Thank you Kylie!

To say I have appreciated Kylie’s expertise would be a grave understatement. I contacted her on the advice of another lactation consultant when my newborn was 7 days old. Two days later we were meeting in person in the comfort of my own home to do an assessment. From the moment I met Kylie, she was warm, extremely knowledgeable, and empowering. I was so grateful to be working with someone who kept me motivated (but not pressured) on the ever-so-challenging journey of breastfeeding. She took time to listen to my concerns and was supportive in her advice.Kylie spent ample time with me, made sure to follow up by email (with videos, recommendations, and follow up plan), and even took the time to check-in by telephone in between our scheduled follow up. To be honest, I have no idea how she does it. I know she must be busy but she never once let me feel like I was a burden and was always bang on with what I needed to hear on each of our encounters.Kylie and I have met three times in total over the course of 3.5 months. The information and support I received has been life changing; I am now exclusively breastfeeding AND getting a full nights sleep. Kylie you are a miracle worker; ‘thank you’ will never be enough!

Kylie came highly recommended by several friends. Connecting with her while I was pregnant was the best thing I did. She was at our house days after we were discharged home from the hospital with our son. Because of Kylie, I have been able to exceed my breastfeeding goals, which is something I never thought possible and will cherish for the rest of my life. I wouldn’t have been able to do this without her.Kylie is extremely knowledgeable and professional, yet very personable. Her personality is warm and gentle, which is exactly what I needed as a vulnerable new mom. When I was taking it day by day, hour by hour, pump by pump (ugh!), I felt desperate for help. That’s where I really appreciated her excellent communication and responsiveness. When I felt like the whole world was against me breastfeeding, Kylie was on my side. My breastfeeding journey has been challenging to say the least, but she has been on my side the entire time, always cheering me on. Kylie is truly the best and I can’t thank her enough :)
