Ok spot but not as nice as three mile bend as there is broken glass and garbage in spots. Wont take dogs walking there again.

Wonderful afternoon walk

Geatz Park is a great place to visit. The trails are perfect and you can take your children. But I do not suggest letting children wonder off the trails. As there are wild animals and may have some Farrow cats. If you go off trail be sure to have a first aid kit and deep woods off bug spray. As there are many fallen trees and broken sharp edges limbs. As every forest there are bugs, unfortunately here in Reddeer we have had a number of Brown Recluse bites that have been very detrimental in having very dangerous effects to people. This spiders bite is devastating to the recipient. Causing gapping hole at the bite site. As this spiders bite causes the human flesh to desolve instantly, causing major infection. Has even caused major muscle loss and limb loss. So just be aware and use caution when allowing children or yourself to explore off trail. Otherwise do have fun and be wise.

I love walking through this area on a beautiful sunny day. It's a great place for a date.
