Toronto Vision Therapy and Optometry

During the first few weeks of the Covid quarantine, our 2006 Minor Bantam AAA Mississauga Sens’ team had the privilege of working with April on Vision Therapy. She inspired the players to feel comfortable to try new exercises and expand their vision. She made it easy for the coaches to understand why vision therapy can give you an edge over your opponents, and she was always encouraging with the kids. April made it fun. The feedback from all of our parents was positive, and while all the players saw improvements, the coaches noticed major improvements and buy in from the goalies. We really enjoyed working with April and can say for certain that vision therapy is a great tool to set you apart in hockey. We’d recommend vision training to anyone looking for that edge.

Dr April Eryou gives me the most careful and thorough eye examination of my 65 year old life. She is very pleasant without being too talkative - I am able to be quiet. I also have experience with Vision Therapy and the same applies. I unreservedly recommend this practise for your eye care!

This is a great eye care clinic. Both Dr. April and Dr. Katie have helped my son and my mother to improve their vision problems.Especially, my mother's glaucoma was able to be diagnosed accurately in the early stage before it got worse. Now, her glaucoma is well controlled and improved. I highly recommend their services.

A very disappointing experience I had and I would like to warn people about this place. I took my 4 year old to Dr Katie Chan for his eye check up. She prescribed him glasses and we placed an order for glasses and lenses with them. The receptionist is kind of rude but then we ignored that. Glasses were given to us and within few months I felt my sons vision is no better. I took him again to dr Katie she checked him again and said she doesn’t see any problem we should come again after a while. Meanwhile I moved to a different city and when his current glasses were checked it was NOT as per his prescription by a large margin. So WRONG glasses(his number is -2 but the lenses given to us by this office were +1.5) were given to my son and doctor couldn’t even tell that to me when I went for a recheck, it’s a horror that my son with his weak vision was wearing wrong prescription glasses. PLEASE AVOID this clinic and doctor !!!!

Dr. Melissa Yeung was professional and attentive. She was very thorough with her explanations and walked me through each step. I also really appreciated all the extra precautions they had in place for COVID. I highly recommend her if you're looking for an optometrist!

My daughter had vision therapy at Toronto Vision Therapy & Optometry, Dr. Eryou and Maxine are very friendly and professional. I can feel they truly care their patient. The treatment and exercise are very effective. I switched to Dr. Eryou for eye exam and new eyeglass prescription. Dr Eryou gave me very through examination and good advice. May helped me to choose glasses and frame looks good on me with low price. The new prescription and frame are perfect. Cat and the other staff are also very friendly and kind.

Doctor Katie Chan is the nicest and kindest optometrist I've ever encountered. She was very thorough during the examination and in explaining the condition of my eyes . She was also very patient with me as I have a reflex to blink easily which made eye drop application difficult She was kind even though it took a while and never shown sign of impatience and I never felt rushed.

I had the best eye checkup with Dr. Melissa Yeung. She listens and answers throughly all of your concerns. Not to mention the very kind lady who booked my appointment through email and was the one who did my first examination prior to seeing the Dr, I believe her name is Araniya. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience.

Dr Melissa Yeung is great. Patient and committed, my daughter had never had an examination and diagnosis as excellent as the one the doctor made for her. I really recommend her

I visited this clinic when I had a bit of an emergency (my toddler mistakenly hit my eye with an object!!). Dr April saw me immediately, conducted a thorough check and was able to reassure a tired and stressed mom! I also took my son to get his eyes checked with Dr April who is incredibly kind and who clearly knows how to put kids at ease to conduct her tests in an enjoyable way. Highly recommend!!!
