Took the kids out for our daughter's birthday dinner. Fun was had by all. Great prices. Awesome service. The food was amazing and I can't speak enough about the portion size. I even bought some hot sauce. Wings were top notch!

We were fortunate enough to come by Sweet G's while passing through Thunder Bay. Let me tell you this is a gem. By 8am there is a lineup out both the front and back door on Saturday morning. Ford the founder and host is exactly as the name states.The serving staff are full of smiles and chipper - even first thing in the morning. Coffee was great, the food was exactly what you'd expect from good home cooking. The staff said we should try a Finnish pancake but we ordered eggs and bacon, so she gave us a small sample of the Finnish pancakes anyway :)Felt quite lucky to come across this spot just by chance. (Behind sweet G's is Gorda home and he has a few cabins as bed and breakfast - the breakfast is free if you stay a night in the cabins).

Prices were higher but in line with home cooked meals. Wait staff were friendly and efficient.Seating is comfortably and varied.The hot Turkey sandwich had slim pickings for meat. They wanted to charge extra for white meat- there is less dark on a bird. Found bone chips in the meat. For this reason, we’ll pass on a return visit.

I love the food here, soups, desserts, breakfast, everything always tastes great. Very well priced. There is one server, usually there in the mornings, super friendly, kind, chatty. She is excellent. She really adds to your dining experience. My only complaint is that I feel the tables are not being cleaned properly. The menus are left out, usually covered in crumbs. Coffee stains over them. Coffee stains left on the seat, table usually has a sticky stain or two. All the “cleaned” tables look like this regularly.

The food was okay. In my opinion, it isn't worth the money, but inflation is hard these days. The service was great and the people were nice. The hot sauce provided at the tables tasted kind of weird but I wouldn't say it's bad. I felt like I was in an episode of the show Supernatural" and I was about to get murdered by a ghost. That part is because I am mentally ill and not because the restaurant is bad. Overall
