Conroy Refrigeration HVAC

Although Conroy Refrigeration were not the company that installed our heat pump, they did not hesitate to answer our call for help. They sent a gentleman called Corey who assessed the situation and told us that we would need a fairly expensive part. Once we got him the right information he checked himself with the manufacturer to see if we would still be covered under warranty. I liked this extra step. Corey followed up with us on the warranty and an appointment was set once the part came in. Corey called before arriving, was professional, knowledgeable and went the extra step to adjust the control panel on our wall. I would highly recommend this company for servicing your heat pump.

Absolutely terrible. Don’t hire! I had an energy assessment done and told Conroy that I was taking advantage of the rebates. I told them I didn’t care what was installed so long as it was a model so I could get the rebates. They installed an ineligible model and now I’m out $6000. Furthermore, the thermostat is terrible and doesn’t work (digital mode). I was told by Conroy they would switch it for a more basic model then was told they would not be doing that. They are terrible as refuse to acknowledge their mistake. I’m now left with a Heatpump that is also too small for my house and out $6000. They also sent a bill after it was installed and then tried to send a second bill that was $3000 higher. There was no explanation for this second bill. They’re just terrible. Don’t use them.

The whole experience dealing with Conroy Refrigeration was excellent. From Dale who determined what the appropriate system and sizing required for my house, to the installation team (Brandon, Colton & Matt). The Conroy Team were a pleasure to deal with, they couldn't have been nicer, more professional and friendlier. It was a pleasure having them in our home. Installation looks awesome and very clean. The job was completed on schedule and budget. It's nice when a company arrives on schedule and completes the job on time. I would certainly recommend Conroy Refrigeration to anyone looking to have heat pumps installed.

Cody in service was great, found the problem quickly and later when the part came in it was scheduled to be installed the next day. He is conciencous and friendly.Domininic and Rebecca in the office were both efficient and pleasant to deal with on the phone.

Dale was very prompt to respond and arrive at our home for an assessment. He was very knowledgeable and informative in reviewing our options and assisting with a selection that best suited our home and our needs. Once the decision was made the installation was completed within days. The installation team arrived and did a fantastic job! They were very considerate and answered any questions I had about the upkeep and operation .We've been enjoying the benefits of our new heat pumps during the recent heat wave in our area. Thanks so much to the folks at Conroy Refrigeration. I would gladly offer my recommendation to anyone. service was top shelf!!

First of all the technician was very skilled and found our issue immediately.They replaced a part for me that I have done myself several years ago and the part alone cost me over twice what I would pay. And labour on top of that when i didn't request the repair. The part didn't work and still leaks. When I call to return the part to recover some of my cost, I'm not allowed and I'd have to pay for the technician to come back again to put in a new one. So I'm stuck doing this again because of a faulty service.

Really pleased with the level of service from these guys! They installed my Daikin split unit and helped me with all the paper work required. Just a great group to work with. Recommend them to anyone....

I had two large residential VRV systems installed for a twelve unit apartment building in 2017/2018. Conroy's were helpful through the design stages of the building and the install was worry free. Their techs are very skilled and deliver high quality work.I also use Conroy's for maintenance at other buildings I manage. They've always had the skill and knowledge to solve any problems.

Our experience with this company from the inquiry stage to the final installation was excellent. Sales and office staff were knowledgeable and very helpful. The installation team was great at offering suggestions and solutions to our concerns. They were prompt friendly and efficiently installed the system. We have had several comments from friends and neighbors on what a great job of installation we got (outside observation). Very pleased with the new Emura wall mount units which work quietly and are less obtrusive than the older models . If in the market for a heat pump system check out what this company has to offer.

Could not be more pleased with our Conroy experience. Online booking for an estimate on heat pump installation was a breeze. Conroy called to set up the consult with Dale within 24 hours. Dale called ahead and was right on time. When we, as homeowners, had some specific concerns and questions about the install, Dale and Mickey were able to come up with an “outside the box” solution. On day of install, we decided to change from a single zone to multi zone unit. A quick phone call and equipment change and the install crew were in business. They were flexible enough to go with the flow and have our home completed and cooling that same day.Kudos to anyone working outside this summer, in the heat and humidity. Thanks for cooling us down. Looking forward to heating season and the flip side benefits of the Daikin heat pump!
