Having marked this for a while we finally made it to CR. The interior is cozy and limited seats available. We got the high seats right in front of chef. The service was quick.Tofu Tokyo Salary Man - the broth light and perfect flavour and miso notes coming through. The noodles perfectly cooked with a slight chew. The almost blackened tofu with sesame crust was amazing.Tofu Kaizen Warrior- similar flavours coming through. The tofu good and the broth a bit more saltier, but not bad.Tofu Spicy Negi - the broth a lot less spicier than I expected. The chilli oil drizzled is a nice touch and some toasted sesame oil finished this ramen.All the above were vegan, which makes this place unique and not just a dish or two for vegans like us. The only negative we felt was the temperature of the broth - much less hotter (temperature). Didn’t have gayoza’s available. I guess we have something to look forward to. Regardless - a must for vegan ramen lovers.

The best ramen I’ve ever had, anywhere. I’ve been to Tokyo & compared. Still, Crafty is seriously that good. I look forward to every time I visit little old Guelph, & I can’t wait to eat another bowl of Crafty Ramen.They also have several amazing vegan options - super vegan friendly.

We tried the gyphon today on Canada's day. The Miso based soup is very delicious, noodles perfectly cooked and like the charsiu. We also love the boiled marinated eggs. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Ordered online through their home delivery system. The packaging was awesome! Everything arrived on time and was fresh. The notifications and updates were cool. The instructions were easy to follow and delicious food was ready in minutes. Loved it!

Absolutely loved up to the vibe and flavours we were expecting. We were warmly welcomed by Ally and served up delicious bowls by Kyle. And Griffin was just a pleasure to talk to and learn more about the beginnings of Crafty Ramen.Thanks all. An amazing first time Guelph experience for us newly migrated South Africans!!

Sooo good! Their ramen was very flavourful, filled with perfect condiments (especially the chashu), and thick broth! Their karaage was amazing - crunchy outside and chewy inside. Highly recommend while visiting guelph! (Check @eatarydiary for the full review✨️)

Ramen was one of those things I thought was too hyped up. I've had Ramen in toronto and it wasn't that flavourful. However, I stopped by this place by chance and ordered the toyko bowl and was super pleased with my meal. Now I understand the hype. A good bowl of Ramen is hard to pass up. They're so busy so make sure you give them lots of time in advance. There's this one girl there who was absolutely killing it doing 5 jobs at once. Make sure you tip well and Come back for more !

Different taste from my first experience. But my stomach still can't handle it just the same. Broth too oily? Pork too fatty? I do enjoy it but it's the only ramen that wrecks me.

Crafty Ramen
Now THIS is a hearty bowl of ramen! The soup was savoury and rich, with a great portion of noodles. Although the flavour could be kicked up a bit, everything else was great. I loved the open kitchen, and friendly staff. It really gave the place character and faces to associate it with, everyone was so quirky and fun. Overall a solid experience, and I’ll definitely be returning.
